Cerakoting My YZ250 Parts With Incredible Results! Part 5

In this video, I Cerakote a lot of the components on my YZ250 two-stroke build. It feels great to be making a lot of progress on this YZ250 project and now that all the coatings are done in the next video we will most likely move onto rebuilding the bottom end of the engine! Cerakote is an awesome option for a lot of the parts because it's very durable but also super thin. I chose Cerakote instead of powder coat for these parts because most of them have tight clearances that powder coat could easily mess up.

I’m curious to see what let loose in the trans I know the 05 and 06 125 had a problem with the shift stop assembly letting loose ,not sure if the 250s had the same issue. Rock n Roll 🤘🏻

Hi Adam, nice video but I have an important question : Doesn't your master cylinder's "transparent plastic gauge" melt in the oven at 300°F ? Is it intact? Does your master cylinder not risk to leak now because of the plastic gauge being put in the oven? Please let me know if it's safe by only masking with high temperature adhesive tape as you do. Your youtube channel is freaking awesome.

TwoStroke Powa you will likely get some discoloration of the plastic. But it will not affect performance. It’s possible to remove and weld up hole but I figured this would be to much extra work.
