Y’all suck. Don’t just come onto someone’s work and say rude things like I’m only here because of (whatever). That’s rude and ignorant.

Great video! Thanks for making this one! I've been teaching art for 9 years and this is the best basic clay video I have seen so far. You go through everything as I would have. Now I don't have to make my own!

Thank you, especially for explaining your methods of recycling clay! We don't have a pug mill, and we have loads left over after students finish projects. Any tips on bringing clay back from being SUPER dry and rock hard?

The best way is to break the clay up into crumbs/powder, then add water and let it soak up. After the water is integrated with the clay, you should be able to wedge it again. If your clay isn't completely bone dry, but is too hard to work with, I like to pour a cup or two of water into the bag, then while its open, submerge it in a bucket of water, then tie the bag shut. The pressure of the water in the bucket, pushes the air out of the bag and also helps integrate the water into the block of clay. Let it sit for around 24 hours, then wedge.

I go to an art high school which on year 2 lets you choose a department. Thee are nine such as painting ,textiles, scuulpting ... One of them is ceramics. I want to go there but you have to pass a test so they know youre worthy of learning ceramics at the school. This video was very helpful😄😄😄
