Do you have any experience with fitting and indexing the gears once on the bike? I’ve tried installing on a 1x TT setup but the chain seems to rub the cage when it enters the cage (right at the bottom) I think from a little cross chaining with the 1x set up. Any advice for mitigating this?

Matthew, not a bike related question... but not too long into the video I noticed your fine hair that seems to be sculpted by pure watts of power. Can I ask, do you simply apply the wet look gel all over your fine mane and then head out on your bike with your head tilted at 40 degrees until the wind forms that fine natural design? Any hints/ tips would help. Thanks again.

If I want to order a Ribble bike with a custom paint job, can I get a colour match on the jockey wheel?
@455LT14 жыл бұрын
Will the wheels ever come in different colors? I want to add one to my order but I need it to be other than red!

great video and I would have the level over-sized jokey wheels most definitely, I have however noticed that Ribble are getting undercut by Canyon, a great bike manufacture. I have seen a canyon carbon framed bike with shimano 105. and DTswiss wheels for under 1800 quids, whats ribble gibba do about that?????

Do you remember which model and I'll get the product team to have good look at that? Agree Canyon are a good brand, a good comparison with Ribble in some cases, but seems recently to be rushing new frame out, at a compromise on quality, went they didn't really need to.

Newbie here. If I chose the level jockey wheel do I need to get a new chain? I'm thinking of the Ribble Endurance SL Disc with Di2 but want to make sure the chain doesn't need to be upgraded. Cheers
@RibbleCyclesChannel4 жыл бұрын
The chain should be fine if in a good condition. Chains to do stretch over time so bear that in mind.

@@RibbleCyclesChannel so the chain Ribble supplies when you purchase a jockey wheel is works withthe jockey wheel right? No need to have to buy a special aftermarket chain?. Also what's the largest tire an SL R can run?

I like the look of this a lot...so much so that I have just sent Oli an email to see if one can be added to my bike build. 🤞🤞🤞

Do you know if your bike is in build yet? I'm sure Oli can sort that for you.

I’ve just had an email from Emma Howard saying it’s scheduled to be built next week. I’ve replied to her email asking if a jockey wheel could be added to the build so hopefully one of them will pick it up and be able to sort it for me. 🤞👌👍

How about a spin test after a few hundred miles of riding ? the only thing ceramic is the bearings the housing is metal.

I did a hack on my rear jockey wheel derailleur "Dura Ace 10 speed", I just remove the internal dust washers(they are very small), I don't envy any ceramic jockey wheels !, the secret is to lubricate all and too the chain with silicone spray ... Please don't use anything else. Clean the chain well with degreaser, then wash it well with water, then dry it ... and then lubricate with Silicone, I use this and I buy it at walmart "WD-40 BIKE LUBE WD40 SPECIALIST SILICONE 11oz AEROSOL" , spray that part twice a week; When you stop pedaling it seems that you have an electric motor pushing the bike. !
