I've played through it in solo levelling arise, and it was a pain to clear. In the game, I think the story currently ends soon after you get Tusk, so I wonder where s2 will end. From the trailer, we know it will at least go as far as the Vulken boss fight, but I think it will end soon after the lich boss fight. Or maybe the Tusk fight. We can only wait to find out.

Correction: Jinho wants to be guildmaster not VP, because an s-rank in the position of guildmaster, who has no ties tonthe company except money coul cut offf the VP and screw them over for his own gain, while Jinho is proposing to become guildmaster and then hire an s-rank as VP/vice-guildmaster and leader of the strike team, so the main figure of the guild (kind of the CEO) would have no reason to screw over the company

Unfortunately you are wrong. The gatekeeper is around lvl 45. And is A rank, or low S tier. Jin-woo at this point is mid to low B rank level. The levels & all makes more since after the return to demon tower arc, that we'll get in season 2.

I hope the subs and dubs will change Jin-ho calling Jinwoo "boss" to something more casual as their relationship progresses. Because in Korean(the original manhwa)..he calls Jinwoo "hyung" and in the japanese dub..he calls Jinwoo, "Aniki"..Both are like honorifics(not exactly) to call a guy older than you by a younger guy. Of course..it starts off with him calling him that out of formality and respect but then it becomes more brotherly

3:09 I guess some pride is bound to happen when you get this strong and have an inherit advantage against other hunters. Maybe the pride is learnt behaviour from how he observed stronger hunters treating him prior to his reawakening. Jinwoo spent most of the series with shockingly poor self worth so now that he has new found strength he views himself in a higher regard than before and thinks he shouldnt be messed with. And just like how he was forced to be remineded of how weak he was back then, he most likely thinks its fair game to currently remind others of their weakness if they step out of line, almost in a contemptuous way - tbh his mindset is still operating under the same vertical paradigm, he's just no longer at the bottom...... The killing is kinda crazy, but alas the weak are disposable in this world as Jinwoo learnt the hard way. if its between him living and a bunch of evil weaklings he will kill them. The system is like an exaggerated model of how hunter society works....just my 2 cents.

I have not read anything and am only as far as the anime has gotten, but I believe that the system has to do with that "god" statue that they encountered in the double dungeon and that he has essentially become a servant for it without realizing it which is why he is told to kill when possible, but run when he won't survive. He has to survive in order to kill for that god.

Then if you pay closer attention to the lvls, and when things become orange cerebus level starts to make more sense when it's compared to the first boss. Strictly speaking, Jinho's estimation is a little off here, at least in the English dub. At this point, Jinwoo is something like a B, rising up towards B-Plus, so to speak. I absolutely agree with Montana about Jinwoo not being so smart in this episode. Mind you, converting from Korean to American currency, the offer he's turning down comes to something like 22.5 million dollars or so, which, it is easy to see why someone aiming so much higher would consider that to be a small amount. However, that's more than enough to meet his needs and desires for the present, so turning down the Jinho's offer *now* just because it's less than he'll get *later on* (assuming things go exactly as he wants, which is never wise to bet on) is an absurd mistake.

People keep saying the system told him to "kill" the people. The system said "Defeat" Defeat does not mean kill, a boxer can be defeated without being killed. He choose to kill them because of his perception and influence of what was happening and his reward was the "murderous intent". Because of this he was able to blame the system for their death in the same way the Montana was talking about they would just ignore the blame by letting the spider kill them.

Ok take note that the gate key he got after killing Cerberus, was an A rank acquisition difficulty. So we can assume Cerberus is an A rank creature. Ok. The castle as a whole is an S rank dungeon. The presumably A ranked first boss, WRECKED Jinwoo. There was NOT a lot he could do and if it weren't for the store he'd never have lasted long enough to kill it. With added gear and buffs, and attacking its weak point over and over, he just BARELY had enough DPS to put it down, and we can also assume this creature was not at the PEAK of A ranked, but probably on the lower end. THE DUNGEON, is S ranked. This episode JUST established that an S ranked hunter, the dude's brother, is after Jinwoo and Jinho's heads. So this battle says if an S ranked hunter comes after Jinwoo right now, he's FUCKED. He's NOT at S rank, with a lot of help he can BARELY manage to take down an A rank, so he's high B rank at most. There's a GULF of power between A and S, so it is INCREDIBLY important for Jinwoo to level up a LOT before the S rank finds him. It also shows that all the monsters Jinwoo is struggling with, the S ranked hunters we have seen briefly so far, could take them down EASILY. Jinwoo's life and death struggles would be as easy to them as killing the 6 hunter killers was for Jinwoo. S ranks are no joke.
