Years ago, a new Christian asked me about Genesis 6:1-4. He needed an explanation about the sons of heaven and the daughters of man. I was stunned by those verses as well as to his query. Having not encountered these verses before, the only explanation I gave him was to continue and to finish reading the whole chapter. He was stuck with those early verses and concluded then it was difficult to read the Old Testament. Over the years, that reaction got stuck in my head too, and it was only this time that those verses have become clearer to me as I listened to Pastor Begg's preaching. Listening to you, Pastor, reminds me of a movie I enjoyed when I was growing up. The main part that comes to mind is when a character said, the world doesn't want to be saved, it only wants to be left alone. I thank you for your teaching because it says, be wise, listen to Jesus and His teachings and the teachings of His followers, both two thousand years ago and those of today.

Thank you for this, I have fought this issue in my former Denomination over many years. Sometimes, we won the debates at our Presbytery Meetings, but the Revisionists are persistent and slowly gained control and silenced the opposition. So we left. Sad, but this is seeping into many churches today. Lord please revive your Church.

The world around us is swirling with satan and his minions, and every day brings murders and news of deceits galore. We really need every reminder! In regards to the question of whether angels and humans can procreate together, I would ask simply, are not Angels and humans different kinds? If so, according to the bible, it would be impossible for there to be procreation.

That is an explanation of Genesis 6 about the Sons of God. It is drawn from other passages with that phrase, the not so canon Book of Enoch, and a connection to who the giants/nephelim are. I'm still on the fence with it.

Why coes the Bible says that Sodom and Gomorrah are suffering the vengeance of Eternal fire? Jude 1:7 But.then in Luke 17:29 it says that they were destroyed? And in Isaiah 1:28 says, as it also said in many other books in the Bible, that the destruction of transgressors and of sinners shall be together, And those who forsake the Lord shall be CONSUMEMED. To be consumed, or destroyed ,,or turned to vapor,or melt,or returned to dust is not burning for ever and ever! In my understanding , by reading Scriptures , the ,for ever and ever will be for us, the saved and taken to heaven and then to the new earth for eternity with the Lord, and the other for ever are the lost sinners who are ashes,burned dead and are no more for ever. Eternal fire is destined only for satan and his despicable angels that were ministers of the death of Jesus the son of our Father in heaven. My God is a marvelous, mysterious loving God, that in His righteous justice will burn and destroy His rejectors , but not for an eternity.✝️💖💖

Anihilationalism is unbiblical. You missed a bunch of other verses. Like the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever refering to ALL in the lake of fire. In Matthew 25:46 the same greek word is used in reference to how long everlasting life and eternal punishment are. They both last forever.

Read the Bible. Don't skip over parts you don't like. It talks in many places what the future holds for those who reject God, and His word. Hell was created for the devil and his angels, but those who follow him will end up with him there.
