I am working on a full review :) Should be out by end of week...I actually regulated this watch and now it is running so close to perfect, I can't tell a week later if it has gained or lost a single second! I think that was probably a freak accident, but I'll take it ;)

How is the accuracy of this watch... I purchased a steinhart ocean one titanium gmt which has the eta movement in it but it runs fast at +7 seconds a day. Bit disappointed if I'm honest.

That isn't horrible, but could be better. :{ It might not be that bad, though...Definitely give it a month to break in if you haven't already. I have definitely seen watches settle down and run better and more consistently after they have been running for a month or two. Remember that COSC is like -4/+6 seconds a day, so you are only one second off of COSC...That really isn't too bad :)

@@ADudeAndHisWatches yeah, I guess I'm asking too much. I'm a bit ocd about accuracy abs I've been spoilt by my bulova sea king I used to own, that was accurate to 10 seconds a year.

@@fractalofgod6324 Please tell me that was quartz! I think my only mechanical watch that consistently stays about 2 seconds a day is my Omega Seamaster...But that is a cosc certified watch and even used they go for a lot of money. Have to admit, I am ok if they only have to be set about once a week...But then, I am retired, so a minute here or there isn't a problem LOL You can get lucky, though. Most of my ETA movement watches are pretty accurate...Very close to cosc if not within. It's a good movement. Not a Rolex or Omega quality movement, but definitely respectable and reasonably affordable. If you have given in a couple-three months to settle in and it still needs to be more accurate for you, you can pay someone to regulate it for you. I don't know how much that costs, but a good watchmaker can probably dial it in a little bit. Might get it down to 2 or 3 secs a day.

@@ADudeAndHisWatches yes the bulova is a high beat mechanical quartz, sapphire glass and 300m water resistance, you can pick them up about 4/500 dollars. Certina do a Precidrive quartz that is also cosc certified which also retails for around 500 dollars. I'll let my Steinhart break in for a couple of months and if its still a bit fast I'll sell it.

Thanks! It is a good quality watch...Definitely a super deal for the money! It is kind of large...17cm wrist would be Mine is 19 cm? (7.5 Inch) If you like big watches, it can work since the adjustment on the bracelet is really good!

Quality is very, very good for the price! Still one of my favorite watches...it competes pretty well with my Oris Aquis, and My Omega Seamaster! Each has their strengths, but when you consider 1/4 the price of a used Seamaster, or 1/2 the price of the Aquis, it is hard to argue with! Thanks for stopping by my channel!

@@apostolosgalimanas8274 This is always hard to answer due to the different sizes of folk's wrists. My wrist at 7.5 inches it is pretty much my maximum size. I do like my watches a little larger than many folks, though. The watch is a little on the heavy side, but because it is not real tall, and because it has the wonderful adjustment on the bracelet, I can get it fit just right and it doesn't slop around. I still think you get more watch for the dollar than any other watch I have seen before or since! If you can afford one, I would definitely recommend it.

Quartz is almost always more practical. However, part of the love I have for watches has to do with the mechanical intricacies of the various movements. It is probably a sickness of some sort, but I hope I never heal ;)

If you're going to expend money on a watch it's because you like it's complications, and it that case automatic or manual is the way to go. Why would anyone pay more than 100/150€ for a quartz, they are really cheap to make.

Quartz is just a kids toy, automatic is a real watch.
