Pawan Thapa the Problem was that these are not Oled and are only Working with Backgroundlight like the sun. When its night the shown screen is useless and because of that fact the screen ist not on the Market today. But the Technology evolved and give us Oled. These Screen do not need Background light because the panel who shows the Video/Picture produces its own Light. So at the ending : Its now coming and they are Working at that point!

@IIRobertll the smart window lets light in. thats how you were able to see the screen on the video. the light came from behind the window. the images are also one way, so you can only see them if you are inside. you just described what happens if you mount the window backwards

@PorschephileRS Applied to car side windows - with maybe cameras attached to front & rear bumpers - look through side window to get a view from the very front of the bumper to see what the camera sees - on some cars that's around 6 feet further forward than the driver. An area on the front screen could display what's in front or behind - for parking.

Theres an interesting truth about reality. and that is if you can think of something its possible. because you can only 'think' and imagine from the basis of reality. In otherwords all your thoughts are derived from pieces of reality, Finding out what combination of things will bring forth your idea is the question.

@505KP How well does your normal window stand up to those conditions? This sheet of glass would, I imagine, be installed over a double glazed window to make it triple glazed - adding an extra barrier to heat loss or sound proofing.

@malevolentburrito No, A speedometer on the Windshield would actually help keep your eyes on the road, instead of looking down at your dashboard, Also the Windshield display could probably do things like highlight Street Signs or Tell you where to turn Etc, instead of taking your eyes off the road to look at your GPS

@kitsune2222 she is using a functional prototype at a technology show, so therefore the technology exists, athough it may not be in mass production yet. there are no functional prototypes for mass teleporters (as far as we know), so that is a better definition of "future technology" than something that someone is using in public

@KaneAmaroq The reason why I mentioned the "Why would you want camers on phones?" isnt about its practicality, it was meant to showcase people's initial dismissal of anything new or different than the status quo. Thomas J. Watson said that "there would be a market of maybe computers in this world". He was surely wrong about it.

@ConceptVBS Difference: Cameras in your phones allows for various other things to occur, along with being convenient. It's one less thing you have to carry around. This isn't really convenient.. at all. It's cool, yeah, but it doesn't really serve a purpose that can't be fulfilled in a more convenient, efficient, and cost-effective way.
