Using the shove method here during the late phase of the plow rather than the slow forward push up onto the step. When done properly can help get the plane on step quicker allowing airspeed to be built much faster. Dunno why i rolled the float so hard.

Trim was all set, this is a shove the nose technique once i have ample airspeed and hydrodynamic lift on the floats to swiftly pivot the plane on step, a faster method than slowly pushing the nose forward and down onto step as you build speed. takeoff on floats is always (FTCARS) full stick back, nose high, waiting for rise 1 and 2 of the nose then forward to get on step. in STOL situations you want to get on step as fast as possible and build airspeed quick.
