I have the exact same bike, I chopped he old exhaust off and welded on a cheap $60 ebay special.... (looks like carbon fiber), they sound so good with a different pipe ! and the weight saving is massive ... Keep the videos coming !

Mounted today the same exhaust on my 800 mt explorer, thanks for your video, this made my mind to buy one. I only went a few blocks with the new exhaust on the bike. In idle it does sound kinda the same with the original with a little more bass, but it has a bit more raw sound when you hit the gas. Maybe it's just me, but I did noticed that the engine heats faster. Also, I haven't seen any graved sn on the exhaust, so if you're pulled over they can keep you there for the exhaust not being aproved, but I'll take my chances. Keep on the good work! Btw, nice garage and boat!

Hi Daz just got my Firetorch Exhaust today Its black has a carbon end tip but no heat shield. I will befitting it soon hope you watch the video . Probably be 10 days or so before it makes it on the tube. Ride safe mate

Do you have to let the ECU match the new breathability, like let it idle for a few minutes and shut id down for a bit? Sounds great! How's the sound on a steady run at highway speeds?

update:April 4 2024 i just came back from a one hour ride on the CF with the same exhaust, i take what i said back, the sound is amazing, i think i was confused and comparing to my other Motorcycle, After installed, i did not ride, today i just did. and i can say that it is thrilling, apologies for any confusions. it just sounds little normal when there are no temps in the can / engine, we loved it Original update Hi mate, thanks for the upload. Your video helped me have it installed. And your emotions and impressions to the sound is what also drove me to to buy. However, it does not sound like a throaty and loud, I did not even install the db killer. Yes there is a different noise coming from the exhaust. But not impressed that much

That’s a shame. Mine is awesome. Maybe they have changed the design or something. Mine has now burnt in. Sounds even better 👍🏻👍🏻✅✅.

Just picked up an 800mt, what a beautiful machine! Thinking of grabbing the same exhaust for a bit more of a sportier rumble. How’s it holding up? Has it smoothed out the throttle response at all? Seems a pretty good deal and easy install…cheers Dazza

Dazza does it heat up much?? Does it need a heat shield for the panniers as the oem one has that protection from heat of the exhaust. Sounds just like the ktm super duke👍

Don’t forget that allready a lean running bike is going to run leaner with an free flow exhaust. Don’t blame the bike brand when the engine problems shows up. Drive safe👍.

You don't need to hold start button for starting the bike. Just press once and it will start by itself. Otherwise NICE sound.

I have 2200 miles on mine with absolutely zero issues. Many people in China, Australia, India, etc. have been riding the 800MT version for a couple of years with zero issues. What do you ride? I guarantee that whatever you're riding has several components from China...
