Thanks for the review! Been waiting for the Singapore one for ages. I’ve had a 400GT for about 2 months now, just got a few points from my experience so far: 1. I’ve not gotten anywhere near the claimed 30km/l, more around the 20-23 mark, which is still fairly decent I guess. 2. The bike actually can start in 1st gear, it just has an engine killswitch with the side stand, so if the side stand is down, it won’t start in 1st gear. That said, the demo bike I tried also didn’t start in 1st, so maybe that’s just a demo bike thing. 3. The power for the bike really starts to kick in after 7k rpm. The guys at the shop told me that’s because it’s similar to the Kawasaki Ninja 400’s engine, that’s sorta when the Kawasaki version “VTEC” kicks in. 4. Highway riding on this bike really is the best, like you’ve said. It’s got the perfect amount of power for SG highways, gets you up to speed really comfortably and maintains it well. Can get quite hot in the city area, especially on hot days sitting in traffic, but that’s sorta what you expect for this type of bike. All in all, it’s a great bike, no regrets getting it, I’ve enjoyed it, got many people asking me about it too. Best part is my wife enjoys pillioning, it’s thrilling enough that she gets a good smile from it too.

thanks for the review! 400gt made sense as compared to 650gt in SG. cos if a person has class 2, might as well get fz1 or equivalents.

Great review bro. Thanks! Hope to check 1. What's the fuel consumption level you experienced while riding? 2. What was the maximum speed you are able to go while it is still stable? What was the rpm? Issit near red? 3. Being 2 cylinder, was the bike hot while riding?

When I get 2A, it's gonna be between this bike, CB400X or Zontes T310/350😅 tough choices! But any of them will surely be an upgrade from my current CB190X😂

It depends on what you want out of your bike. I ride the cb400x, good bike for touring, light offroad and general usage. If u want ease of riding, storage and not having to worry bout lubing chain, get a scooter. Xmax, FORZA and Adv350 are capable machines.

Solid review Farhan! I did consider this bike for a bit due to the freebies/warranty but ultimately settled for the 2022 CB400x for myself. I know there's quite a number of riders in the 2A category been wanting to know more about this bike but the lack of online reviews in a SG context may have made them hesitant in their purchases. Like you mentioned, the closest comparison would be the Honda CB400x, with special mentions to the Versys 300, Zontes T310/350 and the KTM Adv 390. I'm sure your review will help to quell their worries and allow them to make a much more informed decision when they decide to settle on a choice. Looking forward very much to the next review! (a KTM 390 ADV perhaps? Hehe)

A shop at bukit merah don't wana mention who. Told me the 400gt engine is from the ninja and the 800 adventure engine is from the ktm. Wonder if its true?

Its true. Its been said that CFmoto copied the Kawasaki 400 engine. Reviewers have even compared the similarities of both engines. There's also rumors CFmoto eventually paid Kawasaki some money as a form of remuneration for copying their motor

Demo bike or if an owner is willing to borrow it to us, we'll definitely do it. Till then, it would be difficult. We can only review bikes that's made available to us. Honestly, I'll love to do something on Kove. It looks sick!!

Why would anyone get such a fat 400cc bike? 400cc and below shld be nimble. If wana get fat bikes go for 1000 cc bikes right?
