if i remember correctly, i think the "idea" of sound type came from the constant addition of sound themed pokemon. jigglypuff, loudred, ludecolo, ect. there are enough pokemon now that it just makes sense for gamefreak to make it official.

I personally like Shulong. I prefer other fire and sound mons, but for water or dragon? I don't really mind anything else. Currently on my run I had going on, my team was Electaburst, Whisteract, and Shulong[don't like my other team members so they're replaceable]

Yeah the vacumm fight is brutally annoying. You cannot toxic stall it, unless you are prepered with a way to negate it's ability. It's stats and extra hp bars make it impossible for a team of 6 to take it down. I was forced to pp stall it with bulky recovering pokemon (water starter is just too good)

So far the rapidash fight was the worst so far cause I was being lazy about grinding and it still was bodying my tankier mons. Was easy the second I just cheesed it with thunder wave quick claw, curse, and icicle crash which didn't feel good.

Man Xenoverse was hard, especially the postgame stuff. I basically cheesed the opponents with burn, poison, and rocky helmet + contact damage abilities… at some point I had to double team cheese because of some highly unfair battles against several pokemon with multiple health bars with no option to use items and it was still brutal.
