Dreamcatchers literally "catch" bad dreams, demons, curses, etc. and by keeping them by your bed you're basically marinating in a nasty soup of bad vibes every time you go to bed. Keep a dreamcatcher on your window, on your bedroom door, but never by your bedside and NEVER get one as a tattoo!

im pretty sure this short is trying to represent what sleeping paralysis feels like to the people that have it. but is mixed with lucid dreaming as well. So,the nightmare: is the state of mind she feels trapped in when having an sleeping paralysis episode. The shadow/monster: is the paralysis she tries to fight back (in sleeping paralysis whatever dream/experience you're having it happens from your sleeping position, you don't stand up or walk around, you basically can't move). Standing up: lucid dreaming, it's vivid, it feels very realistic, like you can take action at something you're living atm. Waking up: the sleeping paralysis dream is over and you can differentiate a dream from reality. The cycle is over until next time.

Does anybody understand the concept of dream catchers, you are suppose to hang them in front of an open window, so when you dreams "float" away, the dream catcher catches all the good dreams, and let's go all the bad ones, so you have more good dreams. Dreamcatchers should never be hung over or around the bed. They are meant to catch Bad energies/Demons/Spirits/whatnot that cause Nightmares. They are best placed where they are clearly visible such as windows on the ceiling or even in a skylight in the bedroom where they can allow the various energies to flow through them. Think of a Spider Web where they are placed so they can more easily catches bugs only they catch negative energies instead.

I will write what i comprehended. The girl we see is not awake the whole time and she is in her dream itself,till the end she is dreaming.When she woke up in the night and had coffee for not falling asleep ,we see that the clock was not working which only happens in the dream.Then she fought with her nightmare and her fear subsided so she slept peacefully.But when she woke up she is stll dreaming,it also happens to many of us that we think we are awake and go about doing our normal day work like brushing but then we realize that we are still sleeping.This is called False Awakening.

She's taking medication, looking up books about dream catchers, and owns one because she has a problem with nightmares. Also, she got mad when the dream catcher didn't work when she woke up in the middle of the night. These nightmares may cause insomnia hence the pills. Insomnia can lead to depression from lack of sleep and other medical reasons. Depression could lead to weight loss or even eating disorders, like bulimia or anorexia. So I know that most animations make girls way to skinny it makes sense here.

The added security of a dream catcher *can* help repel nightmares. Personally though, I find the best cure for nightmares is lucid dreaming myself into having thermonuclear breath. *Always* works.
