As a volcano eruption strikes the island of ĐẢO CHUÔNG, ANYA, a young inhabitant, tries to convince her father NOBU to leave his temple and let go of the legend he believe in for decades: the one of BaoVeLanh. After a heated argument between the two family members, NOBU gets injured, and cannot save the island anymore. He asks his daughter to flee. Anya refuses, sacrifices herself to ring the gong in a last attempt to save her father. She ends up in a crystal cave and transforms into Baovelanh. The creature then freezes the lava and saves the island.

it is indeed about the universal power of sacrifice... self-sacrifice, the only real power that exists! the girl gave her life and turned into that phoenix-like creature, and that creature dived into the volcano to save the people!... in short, the girl saved her father...

There is a Chinese myth about a girl who sacrificed her life to mend a temple bell. The story goes that her father a blacksmith had been tasked to make a new bell for the temple but the procedure had gone wrong, he consults a wise man who informs him that a young girl must sacrifice her life to make the bell perfect. Not wanting to have a stranger end her life against her will, the daughter sacrificed herself.
