IMO, usually, the US & Chinese delegates should say a few courtesy words (礼貌語言), take photos and then the press has to leave before closed door session ... but, lo and behold, the US delegate (in front of the press) started to criticise China with all kinds of unverified accusations and irrelevant comments on China's internal matters in Xinjiang, Tibet, Taiwan and HKSAR (based from his hearings only) .... I wonder why the US delegate, deemed fit and proper, to be so impolite & impatient? I'm glad that the China delegate did not walk out of the meeting ... but they chose to stay back to reprimand the US delegate and give them a piece of their minds too ... and to assert that those days when US can be "3-in-1" (as the accuser, the prosecutor, the judge) is over.
