Chad Daybell trial: Tammy Daybell's coworkers, more officers testify

Chad Daybell is accused of murder in the deaths of his wife Lori Vallow's children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, as well as the death of his first wife Tammy Daybell.

Since the beginning. Their talk while cops dug up children was seriously alarming. He was sitting in cop car, it was recorded.

You mean, Emma, right? She totally has supported Chad, almost to the exclusion of her mother. I mean, I can't recall that she's mentioned or remembered Tammy, at least publicly. A lot of us were taken aback that Emma had been communicating with Lori in jail. And she arranged to continue to send money to Lori on behalf of Chad. It was bizarre! Nontheless, I am hoping the Prosecution makes Emma pay on the stand. I'll leave it at that.

So Brenda Dye knew the circumstances were suspicious since Tammy was already cold upon her arrival, but she did not insist on an autopsy and left that decision up to Chad, Emma and Garth. I can't tell if she was just plain lazy or inexperienced. We know why Chad didn't want a post-mortem autopsy, but why wouldn't Emma? I mean, if her loving mother's death was unexpected, why wouldn't either Emma or Garth want to know for sure what killed her even if they didn't think their father was responsible? Is it the case that Emma, at least, did not want an autopsy...to protect Chad in case he was, in fact, responsible? Sympathy for Emma losing her mother expired long ago.

Well the kids were likely grieving and he trauma bonded with them he was obviously very manipulative they are likely lucky to be alive too his step kids were not so fortunate.

My father died (in a hospital) when I was in my early 20s and we just let my mom call the shots and we supported her. I can understand why their kids submitted to Chad. I’m sure they couldn’t believed their dad was capable of murder and maybe they still don’t since they’re testifying. Poor Tammy. Poor everyone who knew Chad and Lori…especially their children

Tammy was gorgeous and better than Chad on every level inside and out. Narcissistic men can’t stand that!! He was trying to groom Melanie Gibb but to her credit (of which she deserves very little) she was also way too good for him as a genuine worshipper. That’s why he went for it with Lori. He saw she was crazy, would worship him, and was willing to be as gross and as evil as he was.
