For those who are interested in the topic of polygonal masonry. A number of methods for obtaining the polygonal masonry are proposed. The basis of the proposed methods is the use of clay/gypsum replicas, a topography translator, and reduced clay models of the stone blocks along with a 3D-pantograph. The results are presented in the article: “Fabrication methods of the polygonal masonry of large tightly-fitted stone blocks with curved surface interfaces in megalithic structures of Peru”. When you are in Ollantaytambo make sure to hike to the Inti Punku Sun Gate and the Inca Quarry. Not many do it but it is definitely worth it! Likewise you should hike to the granary across from the main Ollantaytambo ruins.

you have to remember food in the US has ingredients in it that other countries don't use and certain ingredients are banned in Europe that are used in th USA, LIKE meat and chicken in the US is pumped with antibiotics. so the food will taste different, more natural and better. love these videos.

Hey Tor! We don’t have the exact name because we walked to a tour agency close to the main square and booked it in person. They then pair us with a tour group. Sorry about that! Have fun!!!

Hello! Nice video btw! Did both of you had to take coca leaves or just acclimated with the altitude naturally? Im in peru rght now and planning to do rainbow mountain and lake humantay and im pretty nervous about it.
@ChadandClaire3 жыл бұрын
Hey Mel! So on our tour they gave us something to help with the altitude and we did get some coca candy from someone else on the tour. We mainly just took our time and rested when we needed to. I have no doubt you will be okay! Stay hydrated and take it one step at a time.

It is so very very sad what the cruel racism of "Christianity has done to the indigenous peoples of South America and in particualr, Peru! The destruction and murder by "Christians" is horrific, monstous, and unforgiveable. The insanity of the "Catolic Church" haunts the people every day.
