It's an intriguing design that pushes the concept of "ring." I'm curious as to its practicality as a wearable piece. In my experience these projects are fun to make and difficult to sell, though I'm sure one of your following will jump at it. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Malcolm. This one is actually pretty comfortable. I do well with non-traditional rings in Art Galleries sometimes:)

Chad, I love your unique ideas for rings! Have you ever made, or thought about making, what they used to call "finger armor" or essentially hinged rings that cover an entire finger? Sometimes even come up over the knuckle. I don't know if I'm aging myself, but when I was younger the style was popular with the "Goth" crowd, you could get cheap pop metal things like it at Hot Topic at the mall. I don't know if that's still a thing, but if you have any suggestions on how to do a hinge for a ring that covers multiple parts of the finger I'd appreciate it! Thanks for the great content!

Hello Mike! I know the type you are talking about, but haven't ever made one:). Seems like you would rivet each piece together on either side to get a flexible joint.
