He loved this song so much when Heavier Things was coming out. He kind of hated that Daughters became the big song it was at the time. I understand John. It's all good.

@Kai M. Yeah! He said so in the latest Instagram Live. He said, he didn't want to play Come Back To Bed because he had already done it better with Gravity. It's a shame, I LOVE Come Back To Bed.

I can't stand how great he is. John has the ability to bring old emotions to the fore in a powerful way and give you an extremely accurate impression of emotions you are yet to feel

Still is the life Of your room when you're not inside And all of your things Tell the sweetest storyline Your tears on these sheets And your footsteps are down the hall So tell me what I did I can't find where the moment went wrong at all You can be mad in the morning I'll take back what I said Just don't leave me alone here It's cold, baby Come back to bed Come back to bed Come back to bed Come back to bed C'mon back to bed What will this fix? You know you're not a quick forgive And I won't sleep through this I survive on the breath you are finished with You can be mad in the morning I'll take back what I said Just don't leave me alone here It's cold, baby Come back to bed Come back to bed Come back to bed Come back to bed You can be mad in the morning Or the afternoon instead But don't leave me 98 and 6 degrees of separation from you, baby Come back to bed Come back to bed Come back to bed Why don't you come back to bed? Don't hold your love over my head Don't hold your love over my head Don't hold your love over my head Don't hold your love over my head Don't hold your love over my head Don't hold your love

22-year-old here agreeing. I don't know of any artist who has come out with a better collective body of work that truly captures the vibe of our generation. I'm just a huge fan though, so there's that, haha.

He is a legend. I don't care what anyone says. But don't worry I do believe that at some point soon, people will be looking for that in people. Audio technology serves a great function, but i believe that people need to know how to perform and record well without so much help.

why don't i hear John Mayer on the radio? i mean Justin Beiber- just a talentless prepubescent little girl who sings what he is told to, but John sings from the heart, and i hope i aspire to be asclose to mayer-ness as possible:)

Even though he writes most of the FFs music I think he is referring more to the lone singer/songwriter/player mold (a la Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, etc.). But I like your suggestion and would like to throw Brandon Boyd/Mike Einziger from Incubus in that mix.

You may be the exception to the rule at 19 appreciating real music. Most people your age like the vapid, shallow music of pop stars. Im 47 and I have recently just discovered real musical artists. Don't take it wrong that someone thinks age is a factor in for music appreciation. Keep loving musical artists… not music… like we hear on pop stations ad nauseam.
@mickaelverdot185112 жыл бұрын
Okay, so thumbs up to you, but I've got a question : what's the matter with the age? It's not the first time that I see this in top comment, and I would like to understand what's the point of doing this, really. I'm 19.
