Good on her. I'm a forager specializing in chaga and reishi and worry this will lead to "over regulation" and big pharma taking over like they always do. I practice sustainable harvesting and haven't (yet) run into other harvesters. I only know of one , like me and he has physical health issues. I do it as a hobby not as my primary income. My territory does come near a commercial harvester who claims to only use private land. He's so full of BS that I find that unlikely. Whenever someone needs the resource to pay the bills greed will win out. Law enforcement , while meaning well , in principle has only ever been ,to me , in my experiance , about hassling people and generating revenue for governments. Not protecting or serving.
