Power is a fiend and denji is what the fandom calls a hybrid bc the show didn’t officially give what he is a name. Fiends and hybrids are different. A fiend is a devil that possessed a corpse. So the devil is controlling the dead body, only thing that remains of the human is their body, no consciousness, no memory, no personality (there are a few exceptions that I won’t get into bc that’s manga spoilers territory). A hybrid on the other hand is part human part devil. A human that can turn into a devil. As you can see, denji is still very much alive. He has his memories, consciousness and his personality. Pochita is just his heart now

Also, the next season has no official announcement yet. Manga has already 128 chapters. Season 1 covers first 37 chapters, so we can expect at least 2 other seasons.

@@olalderh if S2 adapts the same as S1 then Part 1 of the story will have 3 Seaons, while Part 2 will be Season 4. And thats only as long as they dont make an arc into a movie, wich would really only work with one of the arcs.

Season 1 is 12 episodes, it came out in late 2022 so Season 2 probably won’t air until 2024 unfortunately! Assuming season 2 covers the remainder of this arc in the manga though, it is without a doubt going to be worth the wait
