You asked to let you know if we liked this hybrid session of cardio and weights, and YES! Strength training is crucial for older adults who lose muscle mass. And it's known that the best combination is to alternate cardio with weights to give the muscles a little rest. And it's also known that the value to your body is increased when you are doing some body movement along with the weights, like the marching or heel lifts, like you did. This video (and all your hybrid cardio and weights videos) achieved these important goals for seniors. I've done all of them over and over. So, yes, I'd love more! They're really terrific.

I'm not sure what did it, but I started this video with spinal stenosis pain in my lower back. When I finished and stood up, the pain was gone. I think the final stretch where I was sitting on the side of the chair and putting my leg behind me must have made a difference. Whatever it is, I put this video on my playlist. Thank you, Caroline!

This is one of my favorites. Low impact cardio and strength, I like that alternation between both. Keep chair cardio/ strength routines coming.

Hello Caroline Jordan! My name is "Cami". Just wanted you to know this is the best chair workouts I have ever done. I'm disabled with severe back injuries, been trying to find types of exercises that are in between regular and disabled, but not elderly. This is perfect!!! Heart rate got up to 128 max. Yay! MORE chair cardio with strength! 1st chair cardio I've legit sweat in. I think all your chair cardio should be HITT workouts for maximum burn and getting your heart rate up. Might as well maximize your 20 minutes to its fullest. Love love love!!

I love this one. Thank you so much for your workouts on here. Because of your exersices and the exercises I'm doing here my recovery is going great. I'm now able to stand for short periods of time. My physiotherapist said I'll definitely walk again. I believe some of it is because of you. So thank you for having your videos avalible on KZbin.

So glad I found this channel. Before a significant knee injury this month, I was enjoying HIIT workouts. You have shown that you can still get a great workout, which is so important for mental health ( it is like medicine). I will be non weight bearing for 6-8 weeks after surgery. I really enjoyed the cardio and strength training video - it would be great to see more cardio and strength. Thanks from Wisconsin.

Just did the replay with my 17 yr old. we loved it. loved the added weights. that is definitely something i would love to see more of. thank you! heart rate got to 150 these exercises are so great for me with a bad knee. patreon donor :)

This was great a combination with strength. I loved it. You “killed” me in a good way. I did stretch, boxing, cardio fat loss and this one. It was a magnificent long routine of exercises. Thank you. I always try your different routines and I like ALL of them. I can’t lose you, my coach. God bless you.

Fabulous workout. I have ruptured Achilles with cast on lower leg, am cautious. Love your hurt foot routines. Love the weights+ cardio. I’m a triathlete suffering from exercise withdrawal. Thank you. Heart rate up to 135.

Love chair cardio with strength! These are my favourite type of video that you do! ... Unfortunately I got 4 sets of ads during the 20 minute workout :(. I have never even had 1 ad before on any KZbin workout video. This really threw off my workout flow and messed up the intervals....

I am looking ahead to what I will need to be doing to keep up my fitness when I have an ankle fusion in Jan of 2021. I will be non weight bearing and on a knee scooter for 8-12 weeks. I look forward to see how this will work for me. I am currently doing aerobics/strength 5 days a week for 45-60 minutes. Will really miss squats!

Caroline, I will check it out and certainly give it some thought although my surgery is 6 months away. Thank you for such a rapid response. Your enthusiasm is infectious! I live in northern Utah and have decided to gimp along and enjoy the summer and fall here before I go into 'house arrest' during those weeks of no weight bearing limitations.

hello my name is kim i just started doing your video but i can't do alot of the leg motions because i was bed ridden for 4 yrs or so after hip surgery i finally got a motorized wheel chair and i am getting stronger its one full year in this chair .
