Chair Yoga for Seniors and Limited Mobility is finally here! If you are looking for a way to stay active and cultivate peace as you age this is a prefect class for you. This chair yoga for seniors practice is a perfect blend of strength, stretching, breath-work, balancing and cardio with an added touch of mindfulness.
My hope is that you feel empowered and vital after these 30 minutes and can take on your aging with a new sense of joy and presence. :)

What's not to love about this program (Levels 1,2 and 3). Unless you are very flexible and conditioned, don't try Level 3 until you have spent several weeks with Level 1 and 2. If you apply yourself, these programs are not easy, but they are so worthwhile. I am 72, having had both knees and both hips replaced. Kierstie Payge's Chair Yoga is something most people should be able to do, it is something you can do for yourself at home, and it truly makes you feel better. Better balance, better standing, walking etc. I had a long bout of tendonitis in one shoulder. Chair Yoga has not instantly cured it, but I now have a better range of motion and way fewer times that I notice any pain. Joanne and I are grateful for these programs!

I love this series so much. I started Level 1 the first week of March 2024, Level 2 the second and last week. Today, I noticed there is Level 3! How fun. Level 1 was a great starting place. Level 2 expanded with standing exercises and core, which I liked. However, my favorite part of Level 2 was the cute dogs. When Sky flipped on their back, too funny...Anyways, all videos have been awesome. I love the new and additional moves of Level 3. I am not a senior, but I have very limited mobility and am in a wheelchair. This series offers challenge without being so difficult that I want to quit. I really love how Kierstie provides several options for those with limited mobility. I love when she says that XX is perfect. :) She is very encouraging and motivating. The positive vibes are awesome! This is the first time I've ever continued an exercise related activity for 30 days straight.

I’m 87 and have been doing yoga and now chair yoga for many years. This was a terrific class. Challenging. I hope I find you again on KZbin.

I am loving doing chair yoga...I loved standing yoga, but hip and knee pain started getting in the way. I felt so sad not to have my yoga in my life. But I feel happy to have found this, and it is a blessing!!! I hope you continue to grow this chair practice, because it gives me joy and hope~

Deciding to get back into some yoga I decided to look for chair yoga, and found you. Thankyou for your programs, your peaceful and calm manner and for verbally allowing me to do to the best of my abilities, regardless what that looks like. In the short few weeks, not daily, but 3-4 times per week, I noticed flexibility and strength is coming back in. From this 67 year old living in Western Australia thank you

Been doing L 1-3 for almost 3 months since I retire last November, 65 years old. Until now I've been deoing and dancing once a week or 2x a week and it helped me a lot on my back and have also OA so I do also for arthritis exercises. Thank you so much.

I have been doing your chair yoga session 1 and 2 for about six weeks,It has helped me so much with mobility I can do all the positions and am able to lift my arms now with no problem, I am a 90 year old great grandma nd have lymphadema and osteoarthritis so I am having to use a walker.. Thank you so much Kiersti for these classes. I will soon be ready for class 3.

Hi Kierstie, we just completed the level 3 class and love it! We've been doing one of your classes every morning and are enjoying the benefits. This morning I noticed the core class that is 7 minutes in length...I highly recommend this to everyone! Whew! Feel the burn!! Love it and it is so fun to do! Hi again Kiersty, I just completed a 2nd level practice and it was just great! I've practised yoga for most of my life, and daily for the past 10 years. But I fell and hurt my knee and blah blah blah anyway I hadn't dared practice until I found you. I'm only 65, but I"ve been very hard on my body, and it's all coming out now. Accepting I need a walking stick and doing chair yoga has been hard for me! But you have made it possible❤🎉❤

I have the attention span of a gnat. I love this program. I love that the repeats are minimal. That's where I lose focus and get bored. This is the best chair yoga practice.

About 4 weeks ago I fell and broke my left rib sweeping the floor. Knowing that they don't do anything for a broken rib I didn't go see my Dr. until I felt some poking around the area. I drove to the ER and they ran a CT scan which caught 2 blood clots in both lungs so I was admitted overnight . That incident has not stopped me from doing yoga with you. It has actually helped me. What I am saying to you is that your yoga has helped me in so many ways. I don't know how to thank you enough . Your the best!!!

I have enjoyed this series so much. My first try at yoga so I decided to try chair yoga. I’m 73 with back and hip issues. I had a back ablation and am now in PT for severe tight hips. My therapist is happy to hear I am using yoga. I feel I can really notice a difference in stiffness and flexibility. I started with level 1. Went on to level 2 and now level 3. Thank you Kiersten for this program.

I was doing yoga then had issues with vertigo. This chair yoga permits to continue thus awesome program. Always feel good afterwards.

Thank you for another great chair yoga session. Really enjoyed it and loved the newer postures just to challenge us a little more. I still do chair yoga 1 and 2, and it's really surprising how flexibility improves by doing these on a regular basis. Thanks for your efforts in keeping us encouraged to do Chair Yoga. This is SO good. I have only been practising with Kierstie for a few days but will be making it a daily routine. Perfect for me. I am 76 with a bad knee that requires a replacement (that I keep putting off!!) … this routine is helping me so much … thanks so much 🙏🏻

My chiropractor suggested that I start doing chair yoga. Yours was the first one I came across and I have been doing the chair yoga for seniors, parts I, II & III for about 6 weeks. I just love it! I enjoy seeing your gorgeous dogs too!

I live in a community that has chair yoga classes but they fill up quick and I can’t get into them without going there 2 hours early and I am not doing that. I have done your series 1&2 and just did level 3 today. I can’t thank you enough for posting these classes. I did notice your fur babies were missing in level 3…I missed them! They are so beautiful and add a sense of relaxation. Please bring them back. ❤

great video. Thanks so much. I have been a follower for over 2 years. I have been modifying level 2 with standing some and doing things you are introducing here like not holding on when standing. I miss the stretching of upper body from level 2 so will combine the 2 workouts. I used to "hate" yoga because I seemed to "fail" all the time when trying to do it on the floor but this I can do and it helps so much to work on flexibility. Very important element of fitness as we age.

love the chair yoga’s l started with the first one and have done all of them in the last 2 months wow l love them that have helped me get stronger. l have really bad knees and cannot get on the floor or kneel on them. l have done a few things in my bed l was wondering do you have a chair 4 ? Thank you for all you have done to help us. I am 66 years old and have lost 67 pounds so far.

Hi Kierstie, I just found your yoga for seniors by chance on KZbin, I found them very useful for stretching, especially as I have sciatica pain on my Rt. Hip,I am 80years , remains active still, also I cycle regularly on my ebike without any pain. Please advice me if the yoga chair for senior is the best stretching for my pain, so I don’t have to depend on pain medication, which I took it occasionally when the pain is unbearable. Your input on my case is very appreciated. 🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞🌻☀️

I'm 75 and have used your chair yoga video for several months. I can progress to standing poses, but I still need some support. I cannot get on the floor. yet. Would you consider doing a standing-with-support video?

Hi Keirstie! Absolutely love #3 ! Have a question, in moving my elbow to my knee the left elbow going to the right knee is difficult but going right elbow to left knee is no problem . The right leg manages the exercises well so why is harder ? Is there anything specifically weaker in my core or my left arm? Thank you for this class and 1 and 2. I really enjoy them!

Hi Kierstie! I've been going through your "chair yoga" videos. Roughly half of the ones I've seen so far start out as chair yoga practices but, like this one, they become standing yoga or assisted standing yoga practices. I'd love it if you would rename your videos so that only the yoga practices that are seated from start to finish are called "chair yoga".

what's the difference with mouth open or closed when breathing? Do you do longer practice? When will we see level 4?
