I am 71 years old with very bad shoulders. I also have very restricted mobility. Both of your yoga sessions have helped so much with pain relief and have made me more bendy than I have been in many a long year. I also appear to be loosing weight. Thank you so much.

I'm 80 and pretty fit, riding a bicycle over 2,000 miles each year. However, I've always been as stiff as a board. Your chair exercise is great for helping gain a little flexibility. There are 100s of chair yoga sessions on KZbin, but your's is the best IMHO. It would be great if you added one more that was just a bit more advanced. There is a huge leap in your videos from this to your standing yoga sessions, at least for a guy as stiff as me.

I an new to yoga, chose chair yoga due to balance issues. I love Kierstie's classes. Do one of her senior sessions once a day. Making a definite difference in my all over well being. Thanks!!!!!

Kiersti, you are doing something for many people you may never meet. My wife and I are in our early 70s, and we know the importance of staying active. Until a few months ago, we were avid tango dancers, but my right shoulder developed tendonitis; I did physical therapy for a few months with mixed results. My wife struggled with increasing hip pain. Then about 3 weeks ago I found this video and your other videos. We have been going through this video just about every day; we do a shorter chair yoga before this one. Both of us feel better - better breathing, movement, and my shoulder, although not yet pain free, has a greater range of motion and flexibility in general is better. Thank you, and Namaste.

I’m 52 and have had double hip replacement. I love your chair yoga videos. When u had us put our hands over our hearts and think of what we are grateful for I cried. I got very emotional. Even tho I cried it felt good. Thank you!!

one of the reason's Kiersie's sessions are better than others, is she repeats folks should do what they can. "is perfect". She doesn't demonstrate her super flexibility, she focuses on what many of us with sore joints might be able to do. And makes us feel good about just moving.

I want to do this every day. I’m 66 and my body is failing me. Ok, I gave it a rough time and didn’t exercise regularly (except 10 years of aerobics). I have no excuse not to do it. Thank you Kierstie!! See you tomorrow 😊

I started with first level. Today I upgraded to second level. Thank you so much . I’m 70 yrs old with lots of arthritis and it helps keep my joints from getting to stiff. I’m so happy I found you . GOD Bless!

I start my day with you. Your seated yoga is perfect! I have multiple sclerosis and being able to move/stretch a bit helps me to feel more free. Have progressed to the second session, having begun with your first session. Even my 70 year old hubby sometimes joins me. Thank you PS Love Gizmo!

I became a regular " fan" late last year and thank you so very much for level 2. At 86 my health is excellent and I am fortunately in good physical condition but I wrestle with a chronic balance problem Your seated sessions and presentations are outstanding and help keep me both physically and emotionally centered. Thank you again.

I have been doing your 3 chair yoga exercises for many months now. I am 72 and have a lot of arthritic joints and one knee replacement and another due. I get very stiff and found your sessions helped my flexibility to start the day. I have taken a two week break as I have been on holiday and I really notice the difference. I am 79 and have only recently started this chair yoga level 2. I am amazed how good I'm starting to feel. I had a hip replacement a few months ago and still take it easy on a couple of exercises but I am totally confident that doing this daily is going to speed up my mobility. I am 75 and noticed my right leg has much difficulty keeping my ankle on the left leg . I noticed my left leg is more flexible, do you think chair yoga will help my right leg become more flexible? I am enjoying your classes. Thank you 😊

Jay Miller : I LOVE your class!! I’m the girl with the brain trauma. I do both your classes. I’m so Happy, I love your Level 2!! I am still bothered by balance but I’ll always be with you!! You keep me going!! I have been to physical therapy, not as good as your classes. The more the better. I love your dogs too. I can see how much they love you. Who wouldn’t!! I’m new to your channel and I’m loving your instructions on yoga for the elderly. I’m familiar with Buddhism and yoga but at my age 77 I can’t do yoga like I was younger. So I strongly advise seniors to learn this yoga method to prevent aches and injuries. Namaste

It was great Yoga class I did first yoga class. I love yoga and your chair yoga and I use to chair yoga at Y.M.C.A they drop the Sliver Sneaker class from the our Y.M.C.A . I'm so glad I came arosse your chair yoga it help so much. I do after my shower in evening. I love both Dogs and kind are They. I see you tomorrow night. I've only just found your channel after feeling that, as I have problems getting onto and up from the floor, chair yoga might be a good fit for me in my quest to improve my mobility and stamina. I have to say, I absolutely love these classes! I combine them with a walking workout, using these classes as a cool down and stretch, and they leave me feeling energized and relaxed. I'm already noticing a difference in my mobility and posture so thank you!

Hi Kierstie, thank you so much for these videos! I'm 67, had two total hip replacements within the last year and a half, and both knees are bone on bone, which prevents me from doing many other types of yoga. These videos make me feel much more flexible, and energized! I've been saying so much lately, "I'm too young to feel this damn old," but having only been following you for a couple of days, I'm already starting to feel better. Thank you!

Thank you, this is an excellent series of movements, looking forward to level 3! Recovering and dealing with side effects from a nasty auto immune has made Hatha yoga and Pilates difficult. Your exercise routines are helping immensely, I am forever grateful.

I’m 66, with scoliosis and some arthritis. What a joy to find your videos! After the first session, I immediately felt an increase in my overall flexibility and a decrease in the tightness of my spine. My next session will be my fourth, and I’m looking forward to more positive strides in flexibility. Oh I loved this one!!! Gave me a challenge for sure. Helped stretched my neck after my cervical fusion, and also challenged my knee prior to a complete knee replacement. Absolutely love this exercise.I have bad knees and have a hard time walking for longer than 45 minutes. Even then I have pain. This is the answer to help me stay fit. Thank you!

I had a stroke 3 weeks ago - I’ve done your low mobility yoga every day since then - it’s the perfect amount of exertion and I can really track my progress. Thank you for doing this.

Hi Kierstie.l am Hema ,85 yrs old. My both hips are bad , arthritis,l had open heart surgery before 2yrs.i hàve back pain often.i love to do chair yoga.thanks for your chair yoga .l started to do last 2 days.very perfect for my problems.have a nice day.

I really appreciate the slowness and gentleness of your chair yoga classes . The proof of the pudding is that my spine gets full and gentle rotations and I feel great. I’ve done all kinds of yoga in the past and because of injuries Ben relegated to chair yoga which a few of my friends ( were in our 70’s ) think is wussy til they feel the effects. Thanks so much and looking forward to more chair adventures if you are moved. Your doggies love the energy ❤

Thank you…I’m 70 Years and I started with your first chair yoga for seniors for about 2 weeks…then your core chair and now this seniors part two…absolutely fabulous workout before I di a 3 mile walk five days a week…very gentle warm ups to start my day❤

I love you and your chair yoga and have kept up with it for a year now. The only thing I added on my own is stomach exercises, knee lifts touching the elbow....I really feel the stomach muscles doing this.

I have been doing chair yoga with Kirstie every morning for thirty days. As a 73 year old with osteoarthritis it has helped with my balance and joint pain. I have done levels 1, 2, and 3. I am enjoying the changes in my core and shoulders. Please Kirstie, make a video with both chair and floor. I'm ready to do more!

Kierstie, I happened to see your chair yoga and we loved them. Both my husband and I are 74-80 years old and we are doing it almost everyday.
