Japanese smoke salt, then shave them to make bonito flakes for dashi or broth. You can eat them grilled on charcoal or sashimi. Make sure you bleed them and never freeze them.
@Luckyyyyyy2065 ай бұрын
Holy moly, a toadfish is absolutely venomous, and it’s dorsal fins are where it’s venomous spins are at and you were just holding it right below your hands 😖😖😖 thankfully you were safe lol you would’ve been in a world of pain possibly even a trip to the ER.

Hey Micah, I’ve noticed the last few videos that you were having trouble losing fish even when they had taken the bait for awhile. I would recommend just skin hooking your baits so more of the hook is exposed because that’s how the circle hook will be most affective. When the hook is Buried in the bait it keeps the hook from working properly. Just my experience at least!

Try a serated filet knife for fileting sharks. Imo the blade doesn't dull as bad and it's a little less nails on a chalkboard feeling. Also do a catch and cook toadfish. They're actually freakin delicious and so are puffers

I like Bonita. It has a texture like steak. Grilled it on the blackstone with standard seasonings, get a decent crust on it. It does not compare to other fish but like a steak or beef. I wouldn't eat one thats been frozen like that though. Eat it fresh and bled out.

Oyster toadfish have a venemous spine on their back. Other than that no venom or poison. But you definitely do NOT want your finger in that jaw still haha Also, very edible! I did a catch and cooks with one on my channel last year! They are actually really good! Easy to clean and nice white, mild meat!

tip when fishing for sharks. Use a circle hook I use 9 and 10 ot circle hooks And as for selling those if you rap some string around the eyes as well as putting the duct tape on there, then I would agree with your price.

When you went into that tackle store, she said that she had some fish that were dying. Next time you go there tell her one of your subscribers suggested that maybe the fish tank is too close to the window so maybe the water is getting too hot she should get a thermometer and check the temperature of the water and keep it at the right temperature for that species of fish.
@milkcarton235 ай бұрын
Thats a good point. It's just that sometimes after we have them for a long period of time and they get so big, they just die. Also we change the water weekly.
