Hey man, I've been watching your videos for years starting back when I lived in the bay area. It's been so inspirational to see your channel grow despite all the set backs you've had in life. As I sit here writing this comment my mom as weeks if not days left to live after over a decade battle with cancer. Knowing you've lost loved ones and still had the strength to make videos.. I am beyond words. God bless you man.

That cove is my favorite County park. About 25 yeas ago we had a family camping trip there. At the time the abalone limit was 4. My brother in law took Fred out for Fred's first time. Within an hour they had 8 abalone between them. The day before I caught a keeper ling cod right in the cove. On another occasion I caught two cabezon from shore.

Thats one of my favorite places to go fishing on the coast. I normally take my kayak because around the corner to the left of that cove theres a large rock and several submerged rocks that hold big lings and Cabazon. Ive also talked to local divers in that area and they said its very "sharky" so be careful Matts!
