For me it’s about ride, comfort & of course the way the bike handles first. That being said I went from an HD to an Indian Springfield & never looked back ✌🏼

So, the Challenger is a pretty bad ass bike; however, the technology is different. Overhead cams and liquid cooled makes a big difference. Put the Road Glide up against the Chieftain and that would be a more fair comparison. Not hating, just food for thought.

A more fair comparison would be up against a BMW K 1600 because they are claiming to be the king aren't they. Unless they go up against the real Top Dog it's just a bunch of BS.
@motoGPness3 жыл бұрын
@@steveh7108 The K1600B is literally a sport touring bike with a lowered subframe and some bags slapped on it. It’s not a bagger in the traditional floor board having, heavy weight, V-twin American sense of the category. If you want to pretend they’re the same category of bikes then lets slap some bags on an H2, call it a bagger and then dog the K1600 because it can’t hang.

1/4 mile would have shown which engine was producing more power in top gear/top speed. The trap speed at the end of the 1/4 mile would show which is more powerful at higher rpm. Also would indicate if HP really wins the game versus power/gears for quick take off. My vote would go to the bike with higher power at say 4000+ rpm. But, the 1/8 mile does show which bike is stronger for most of the typical riding those of us who never got on a dragstrip could achieve for quickness.
@benkudon73623 жыл бұрын
There are so many other factors that should be looked at to decide which is the best motorcycle for you. Comfort, long distance, controls, seat & seat height, hell any way you look at it they are both baggers not race bikes. Sure you can load up the extras to see how fast they will go down the track, but in the final analysis I think most riders are taking these machines out on the road for long trips and they may also want them to go faster than stock!

Also why didn't you run both bikes head to head, that's a drag race. Disappointing video, I'd keep it stock honestly.

That interesting to hear from your perspective. I think you make a fair point. Upgrading your cam on a dual overhead cam motor is a pretty hefty charge versus the single cam camchest in the M8. I'm doing mine and it's 400$ for the install not including the tune.
