Be careful!!!! Clayton was the Worst 26 yrs ago, floors wood buckle after 3 to 5 years and they were known as the cheapest made in the industry. That might have changed. Redmond was the best. Actually, anyone was better. I'm Not in the industry anymore but would LOVE to know myself, like did Clayton improve and who's the best. Do your research. Maybe at the Library you can ask the Reference Desk if they have reports on that from Consumer Reports like they compare best and worst cars, etc. They must have someone reporting online, you would think.

Open floor plan is noisey and expensive to heat and cool. Also, it's meant for a more tropical climate, where every breeze counts and there's no central air. Open floor plans, like high ceilings, waste A LOT of $$ in heating and cooling.

Where does it normally go?? I’ve seen water heaters in attached garages and laundry rooms .. we don’t have furnaces/boilers in SoCal but I’ve seen them in basements in movies and beautiful old craftsman houses for sale back east. I’ve heard you can put a water heater outside but never seen it. Our ac/heater combo units (for central ac or mini splits) are on the roof or a concrete pad next to the house (I’ve seen mini splits attached to walls in video’s online).

This home is paradise! I like the separation of the rooms. I prefer a foyer instead of the front door opening into the living room. Cozy living room. Very nice kitchen and dining area. The accent wall is pretty. Nice panel doors. I love the guest bathroom; the flooring, layout and accents are gorgeous! 😍 The master bath is pretty too, lovely tub and shower. This is one of the prettiest homes I've seen on this channel.

Wow. A lot of thought went into this design. I love love the way it's decorated! The way they set up those bedrooms is genius -- having that wide hallway area and a large bathroom with double sinks is so nice. I live in an open concept house, which I don't love. I really like how the living room is semi closed off.

A nice footprint. I like that the main closet is not in the bathroom. As a person who made stone countertops for 20 years. Thise in the kitchen will burn scratch and chip. The porch is great.🤠

This was one of my favorites at the show. I loved the fact that it is not your normal open floor plan. That texture on the pulls is similar to what is on screwdrivers and ratchets, they call it knurling.

Yes! I want the rooms separate. I don't like having company over and you go to the living room to visit and you are looking at a dirty kitchen. This is great. And the kitchen size is not suffering for size at all. Great looking home.

I like the secluded living room and 5 panel doors. Chance, I was a drywall contractor for almost 50 years. 9'6" ceiling height is perfect! I've been in alot of homes ...but 9'6" is not too tall and much better looking than 9'. I did a designers home and they had a custom kitchen/ living room.

I do like the outside looks of this house which is rare for me. I do like the living room being partly closed off so that it is actually a room. I like all the drawers in the kitchen. Plenty of cupboard space and room to work. I love that cozy spot for a chair, it would be a great reading spot. Claustrophobic water closet in the master bathroom. I do like the look of the shower and the clear glass. Other than that, I like everything about the house.

This place nailed it on so many levels! It has the most unique layout.. Hubby didn't really care for the "choppy layout" as he prefers it much more open, but I just loved it! Everything right down to the fixtures was beautiful. I'm not a fan of carpet, but I really did like the carpet in the bedrooms.. usually they have darker carpet which I don't like. I guess the only thing I would change would be the tub in the main bathroom. It was small. I prefer there to be a ledge around the tub so I have space to put things. The walk in closet was very nice... Love the deck.. I think this is my new favorite! ❤❤❤

Love this home! It's both cozy and spacious. It is noticeably high end but not at all pretentious! I need to believe, somehow, that a 100 watt bulb can keep this house warm in winter and cool in summer... But other than that it is a real winner!

I love it! The floors in the laundry room and baths. I love to double sinks in the guest baths...I have 2 girls and Lord knows they each need their space. 😂 Only thing I would consider changing is the color of the carpet (a little too light) or maybe just put hardwood throughout the house. We are getting ready to move and are shopping for a new home. Really appreciate your videos. I love this house. It is lacking some storage space. I would rather have the space down the hallway for the rooms instead of the hall. Even half the wide area for the rooms would make a difference. I am a big porch fan and love the front porch.
