Love this mascara on you! I’m also super relieved because I just picked it up at Nordstrom’s on Saturday and I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. It’s $42 in the US, just in case any Americans are wondering. I told my friend at the Chanel counter “I have the shortest, straightest lashes EVER” and she said that I’d love this mascara so here’s my fingers crossed! 🤞❤️

beautiful packaging, love the push up mechanism. I am basically a one coat person now (I'm a senior), and I loved the effect you got with just the one coat, with 3, looked like you had false eyelashes on it was so complete a coverage! I would definitely be in line to purchase if I wore a lot of mascara like I used to when I was working. Loved the fact the brush wasn't gooped up with mascara also, I always have to scrape the brush against the inside edge to get the extra mascara that usually leads to clumping off. This one looks fabulous against that. UPDATE: Got a sample size of this mascara and LOVED IT!! My eyelashes are not thick, so normal mascara's tend to make my eyelashes either clumpy or like spider legs. This was fabulous, separated them, and altho I applied just 2 coats and didn't go down from the top, my eyelashes looked wonderful! I have been using Chanel Le Volume mascara, Noir Allure is SO much better!

Wow what a beautiful product! I really thought you had tightline on that first coat. I can’t believe the fill size is so small. That’s a deterrent for me but I’ll probably pick it up anyway! Great video. Your eyes are beautiful!

Never ever would have thought about picking up this mascara. But now......it looks stunning!!! So beautiful Charlotte. Please update us how long the mascara lasts with this 6 gr.! I have to say, I rarely buy a full size anymore, because even the little travel sizes do a great job and I can use them up til the very end before they dry out or get clumpy. This is the most expensive mascara I've ever wanted but it looks amazing! I love the wand as someone with hooded eyes but long lashes and no matter what I always tend to get a few smudges on my lids. I'm def gonna give it a go. I treated myself to their foundation recently and I can see how they're such a staple brand for us. Looks amazing on you! Thank you for the review.

Wow, I didn't expect such a great result from the Noir Allure mascara. It looks fabulous on you, Charlotte! I'm a big Chanel fan, but It's wallet-wringingly expensive here (*$55 Canadian*😮) , so I can't see myself parting with so much cash any time soon. I do love the luxe packaging, the unique pop-up mechanism, and the brush which allows such good definition without clumps. Sigh. I may end up trying it out as a special treat to myself some time...🙄

I once had the Chanel intimitable waterproof mascara and it was really good. Sadly Chanel is too pricey for mascaras, so I changed to Lancome Monsieur Big Waterproof. That creates me lashes that look like falsies. I have also a more affordable favorite, Maybelline Lash sensational waterproof. It is really good too. I have to wear waterproof mascaras because my eyes melt all non-waterproof ones within 30 minutes, and I don't even wear it on my lower lashes!

The finish of this mascara just after one coat is exactly what I look for for everyday which is nice since you get so little product for the price.🤨 I love long, defined and fluttery lashes! :) I like to add more drama for special occasions, but I don't need any more drama during school drop-off in the morning!😏 Unfortunately, I will be passing because I'd rather buy a new pair of jeans or shoes for $42......though I would definitely find that push and click mechanism to be so very satisfying!!

Wow, this looks very impressive! Beautiful! Nice wand, nice packaging, great results. Like you, it bothers me that you pay a full on high end price for 6 ml. I am very curious about how long this is going to last you. Would you care to update us about that by that time? To me, this is a pass for now. Really like this mascara on you. I wish I had waited and bought this one. I had "le volume" from Chanel and it was okay. I have recently bought "le volume stretch" from Chanel and it is aweful! It won the first place in 'the worst mascara I've ever used' category. It's everythere on my face and in my eyes and the brush is uncomfortable to use especially on lower lashes. Do not recommend le volume stretch but this one is sth to explore.

Honestly, I wipe off the wands before I stick them back in, so they don’t add bacteria & lash mite, or add half dry product to the fresh tube liquid BUT I do that with €8-15 mascaras…

So I have 2 issues . first the price vs the amount your getting. I'm not really pleased with that but if it's magical I'll pay BUT second, when I unscrew the top of any mascara I always wipe the excess off back into the tube. Is that possible with the pop up lid?? Trivia time (yay!) Do you remember about 30 years ago (no, because you're all babies in my eyes) when an extra black pigment was allowed in cosmetics? It's the reason why mascaras today still use the epithet extra, mega and super black. Before that everything was just plain black. /Grandpa Ford

Great review! I think I will give this mascara a try. I never finish tubes of mascara before it’s time to toss them (I’m more of a one coat kind of a gal), and so having less product isn’t really an issue for me. The way the component prevents clumps on the wand is a major selling point for me as are the lack of smudging and flaking. I don’t have oily eyelids, but I have horrible under eye circles, and I think the makeup I use to cover them can cause many mascaras that seem to work for others to give me raccoon eyes. I don’t apply mascara directly to my lower lashes and just gently blink it on from the upper ones instead. Really hoping this won’t run on me!

I bought this based on your review but it is awful. It really smudges badly, looks a bit flaky/clumpy from the start and doesn't lift as well as Le Volume. I can't even bring myself to use it again, will try to return.
