this is a very good tutorial..nice to see you use it in matches. I don't like when coaches say scoop the ball...usually that makes it land short. Glad you claified that

Jon any advice on how to get faster. I dont know why, but when I'm faced with a drop shot, or a shot where I have to move to get to it, my feet freeze and I stand still. Love your videos.
@ChangBangTennis Жыл бұрын
You can try to focus on split stepping right before opponent hits. Also, I would try to keep your feet moving the whole time to be ready. A lot of players will hit the ball and look at where their shot is going instead of moving their feet. Hope that helps!

My coach changed my grip on the dropshot (volley and serve too) to a more eastern grip to have more strength on the dropshot and volley from the forearm and a more open racket face on the serve and help with pronation. I play at a fairly high level in terms of skill level. Do you have any tips/comments on that? Thanks and keep up the great content!

I’m not sure to be honest, but everyone is different. If you feel it helps and you can hit it consistently, it should be good! Thank you for watching!
