Glad you liked it! I do have some other videos out there for this Enclave and have a few more coming up (how to check transmission fluid and cabin/air filter change). I have to finish up a Ford Escape transmissions swap video first and few others but will try to get to more Enclave videos soon. what if you can’t put the service mode on and you still compress the piston with out it

I haven't tried so I can't say for sure, however according to GM (and other OE's) you risk damaging the parking brake mechanism. If you're not able to get the manual route to work, the next option would be using a scanner which will work every time. I have an Autel scanner similar to this one (amzn.to/3OVLwjv) that can put in service mode, and I believe even some of their cheaper ones can as well.

What part number was the rear caliper bracket bolt?

According to Rockauto its GM GENUINE 11610905. These are torque to angle so you can reuse if clean up and apply thread locker, but if looking to replace Rockauto has them listed for about $4 a piece: www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/buick,2018,enclave,3.6l+v6,3438692,brake+&+wheel+hub,caliper+bracket+bolt,13055

You can buy a scanner that lets you retrack your rear parking brake. These 2nd gen ebclave and traverse are the easiest vehicle to work on with very little headache. I absolutely love working on my 2018 traverse.

Yup agree, I have an Autel scanner that will also set the parking brake service mode, but a lot of people don't have a scanner. I wanted to make sure did this video to help others as its not required to buy a scanner unlike what some shops try to tell customers in order to get business.

If you're referring to setting the parking brake service mode, the process outlined is only for newer GM vehicles. I'm not sure how the Festiva parking brake is setup as that vehicle was built by Mazda for Ford.

Doesnt seem to work for 2017 buick envision. The parking brake light with wrench under on the right lights up solid and does not blink And disappears when i release brake to hit it again

Try doing it again except keep the brake held while you press the parking brake again. Although the process I showed in this video works for various models, there have been some people on my other video that say this worked for their vehicle (kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIrTp6Zqetp4j6c).
