Change the grip on a cricket bat without a cone

Super helpful! This is the first time I was putting a grip so it did take me a while, but I couldn't have asked for an easier method. As someone mentioned, it is hard to get the plastic bag through the grip, but tieing a knot at the holding side (of the bag) and then just swirling it around the rest works well. Once the bag is through the grip, untie the knot and pull it out, it come off smoothly.

U r a savior for sure Buddy, Thumbs up. For more assistance who wants to put the plastic into the grip, just wrap a thread on plastic one side, through the grip and pull the thread from other side :) This is a secret now one my friend circle. Absolutely genius idea by this video.

Getting the bag through the grip definitely the hardest part. I used a stump to poke it through but put a hole in the bag.

Great video mate! Getting the bag in the grip can be done easily by twisting the bag into the grip (it will only go in a little way) then shaking the grip. If you are double gripping, place another bag over the first grip you put on, then repeat process. It is a little harder to slide down the handle but still the easiest method.

Fabulous. Thank you. 10 minutes and we were done. Worth saying the trickiest part for us was threading the bag through the grip; we used a long, blunt metal ruler. Though we punctured the end of the bag it didn't matter as the bag protrudes as your video shows. A great party trick for the cricket club! Thank you again.

Great video!! I made my own showing how to reuse an existing handle that had slid up and watched yours to see how to get it back on again. Very fast! Works a treat.. For Anyone else that is struggling to get the bag through the grip. I tied a shoelace to the handles of the bag and pulled it through that way once its through you can just untie it and away you go. This way the bag is not all twisted up and its easier to work with.

thats an amazing video. Really really helpful!! works like a charm:). its a little difficult getting the plastic bag through the grip but here's a tip- put a second square of plastic just on the tip and fasten it with a rubber band. this way the bag doesn't tear.
