Great job guys, easy to understand nice step by step instructions 👍👍my question is if you don’t have that clamp to unscrew the oil filter, would it be acceptable to hammer a old screwdriver in too the filter and lever it loose ?

it's very nice that you are doing instruction videos but you should learn first about what car and what engine you're dealing with because you are risking your clients with killing their engines it is strictly prohibited to use engine flush or any oil cleaning additives in the 1.2 VTI\puretech motors. that's because in this motor the timing belt is located inside the engine while being lubricated by the engine oil. using flush in this engine is strictly prohibited by the manufacturer because it's damaging the timing belt and if you did use it in the worst case the timing belt will tear up with all the sorrowful consequences and in a better case, the outer layer of the timing belt will degrade and contain the oil with its fractures clogging the oil paths and following to oil starving and engine rollup. now you need to change the timing belt as soon as possible to avoid further damage. also, you're using the wrong oil, the manufacturer recommends specific 2297 oil (mobil1 esp or total quarz).

This is not correct. 5W30 2297 is ok, but 0W30 2312 is more specific and suitable for the car. No damage for both cases, I will recomend the 0W30 is the manufacture request. Secondly, doing a flush with the old oil, especially if it is 5W30 or above will not damage anything because it is for cleaining deposits and will make oil be a little bit thin than it should. The best choise is SeaFoam for flush this type of engine. You can drive it with 3 ounce more than 1000 KM total with no problem. It wont damage any engine because it is a little amount and work perefectly.

@@user-sp6eb8ht4t I am looking for this information myself. For example on the 2016 50kW 1.2 engine, Total seems to recommend its Quartz INEO 0W-30 oil, with Alternative recommendations: EO PSA 2290 5W-30; EO PSA 2296 5W-40. This is a ACEA C1 oil, which is not what I expected, being a naturally aspirated engine with no FAP.

I do not like the dipstick colour yellow. How do you know if the engine oil is at the max level. I cant see any oil because of the dipstick colour.

TIPS: Car Ramps are more practicle for oil changes. Oil Changes can be MESSY!! Change the oil filter first, this is so you dont have too go fishing for it if it falls into your oil pan full of hot oil in case you loose your grip! If it´s a Spin On punch a whole in the bottom to drain off the oil inside the filter.
