My life has felt like a MESS for the past few months. Especially in the past few weeks, I've felt like all I do is dream about what I want to do and the person I want to be, but I haven't been able to get up and do the things to get there. This has really helped me to break it down and stop overcomplicating everything I need to do. I can already tell this video is going to be a big help :)

One of the biggest things I have learned in life (as an older person) it to make sure you 'love' where you live. Too many people are actually 'unhappy' because they don't fit in 'religiously' in a town or they don't 'belong in a city' or they need to be around other 'like minded people.' It took me a 'long' time to realize my talents were in writing poetry and it took me an even longer time to realize there was an actual 'town' with a cute tight-knit, artistic community that made me feel like I 'belonged.' Focus on making more money when you're young but also never staying at 'overwhelming' jobs too long and make sure to try to learn about something that you're 'passionate' about. Start with 'self-help' but move onto books on subjects that you become 'passionate' about.

this is very helpful advice, coming from someone in a town that is extremely religious where I am not. I have found some people like me, luckily but I can't wait to get out! Even if it'll take several years. thanks for sharing
@Blujonny11
@Blujonny11 3 жыл бұрын
@@ummitsmerachel I used to live in a very religious place. It was only once I left, that I began to realize how much my mind had been molded into being 'cult like' even though I was never part of the religion, that's how 'dominant' it was.
@ummitsmerachel
@ummitsmerachel 3 жыл бұрын
@@Blujonny11 Sounds similar here. I grew up in this religion but have left it and am unfortunately still in its most known/populated place. it is crazy to think how much it can mold you and your thinking without you even realizing
@Blujonny11

@@ummitsmerachel Yeah, I hated the whole 'perfectionist' attitude of it. And the fact that people are so 'private' that they don't seem to care about anyone other than people in their tight 'inner circles.'

Proverbs 14: 12👍!!! There is a (thought) way (concept) that appears to be right, but in the (confusion) end (doubt) it leads to (disgrace) death (Galatians 6: 7 - 8). Have you considered sins (James 3: 14 - 16)? How can this concept work if sins are (part of it) not (mentioned) exposed? How can True (Wellness) Success come from sins (Romans 6: 23)?

Maybe there's something wrong in my head, because even if now I have a dog, a cat and a stable job, when I think those moments where I was happy it was around 7 years ago when I had my other doggie, my little chi, she was the furry love of my life and losing her on 2015 was the lowest point for me and deeply I haven't been able to recover emotionally, I just miss her way too much 😥😥

11:26 Joy is inborn. It is always accessible to us, and it is not something we have to chase into the future. It is also not something for which we have to do anything specific. Yes, there are particular activities that we each individually favor, but if you could never do those again in your life for some reason, even one as simple as you growing out of them, would you not seek to find something else? Would your life be forever robbed of joy then? By the way, to access joy at any time it helps to drop all of the preset rules of when you can feel bliss and happiness, systematically relax the physiological tension in the body and muscles of respiration, and rest your mind in the silent stillness within, even if it is for the span of a breath or two at first. Still do your hobbies and interests and delineate time for them, but our true joy is never dependent of anything external to us nor is it something that we can only experience if we plan for something ahead of time and build excitement and hype around it.

Research that online, what do you need to make it possible and starts working towards it. Absolutely do not doubt yourself for a second, you might find something else on your journey and get redirected again (happens a lot, keep yourself open to other scenarios). As long as you know what you want (most people don't) you can have it. ❤️ Good luck🍀

That’s a start , I have nothing ! I’ve become stuck and trapped and this pandemic , well it’s crippled the world but as health care workers , we are out there in the midst of carnage ! Keep strong and reach for your goal . I sit for hours thinking could I start my own business, I’ve completed stage one in psychotherapy so I have this as well as the nursing but I never seem to be able to go for it .
