That was so sad. The part where the robot tried to "change her batteries" so she could wake up, reminded me of when my grandpa died. I entered the room with a huge bouquet, he always loved flowers, I thought he was sick but, as soon as I saw him laying there lifeless, never to wake up again I was in such denial my mum says I was begging him to "wake up and see the beauiful flowers I got him" over and over until I started sobbing uncontrollably and kind of blacked out for a while. I remember thinking I'd never talk to him again, I'd never see him but, this movie made me realize that he's in a better place now. He lived a fulfilling life, went through wars and hardships and was a very wise man. We all miss him. Very beautiful story and interesting animation~❤ Edit: It's been years since this comment and I want to thank you for the comments and support, I hope you're all doing well ❤️

This reminds me of my grandma. I wanted to take her to theater. I loved her so much. And then, she died. She was sick for only 4 days. Sometimes I imagine that she is next to me and I "talk" with her. But actually I'm just talking to walls. Sometimes I imagine us going to theater. I really miss her. Just know death is a part of life and it can be beautiful. Our loved ascend to a far better place then here so yes we should mourn them and miss them but be happy for them as well because they are now the happiest one can be in heaven. You have to live on so you too can create a family and have children and later grandchildren so you can experience the love you're had for you. You think you love your parents and grandparents well as much as we love them, the love a parent has for our children is unexplainable. You deserve to feel that love so never give up. And remember to smile for the ones you've lost because they are not gone.

dont be insensitive. this video is touching. the robot doesn't understand the concept of death, it just knows that it lost the only friend it ever knew. it lost the joy it shared with its friend and it lived out the rest of its days alone before its battery finally gave out. whether robots go to heaven or not is irrelevant. the point was in death the little robot was reunited with its best friend
