The 800fi sounds marvelous with the right exhaust. A high-level one always looks the best. It seems the only ones left brand new for the FI is the usual eBay cheapies, such is a bit of a shame.

Yes. Quite a lot of resonance at large throttle openings and low RPM and a lot of rasp at high RPM that doesn't just come from the exhaust.

You see when the bike backfired when you cranked it? Is that normal? Happened to me the other day, scared me sh*tless.

It happened because I accidentally cranked it over a few times with the killswitch engaged just before this. I thought it was quite cool so kept it in. It was bloody loud!

Interesting video and bike. That whiring noise is not for me though.
