To line it up with the jack just drop some blocks on the ground about 8 to 10 inches from the center line of the jack and back up until you hit them then check the alignment. Note how far you are off that time and you can adjust where you drop the blocks accordingly next time.

If it has 2 batteries, always replace both. (My father used to sell them, lots of complaints were caused by only 1 replaced battery if there were 2). The better old one can still live on in single-battery usage.
@puirYorick Жыл бұрын
Truth. The stronger new batter will be perpetually trickling off charge to support the weaker one and you end up with degraded life cycles for the set. Even true for flashlights that use two or more C or D cells. Does anyone remember those?

If the batteries are cracked it's the time to replace them all. And wash out tray with baking soda and water for neutralizing the leaked acid and brush & Paint the trays. Disconnected batteries helps but isn't the best solution.

Mike, don't you have a Bluetooth/WiFi camera or an old cell-phone with camera that you can put on top of the jack. You can catch the image on your own cellphone or inboard camera when they are ( approximately ) aligned.

...pvc tube 15:30 ...would a PVC TUBE onthe hub stickin out HELP WITH ALIGNEMENT ?????? do they make a cardboard tube that size??? eh... just a thought... maybe even a tile section to help alignment... just... yea... *I* think that MAY HELP when solo alignment is necessary...
@puirYorick Жыл бұрын
When you're backing up the sprayer you could've just placed both gray inserts off to your driver's side as location flags to align with the jack stand. That should eliminate a couple uppie-downie cycles for you.

I add my 2 cents with everyone’s comment, buy a WiFi camera off Amazon. Rechargeable battery. Magnetic base. Download app onto phone. No wires. Stick it to bottom of spray, watch phone screen for video. I use one for super B grain. No guess work lining up over pits. Back up camera also. Good luck.

I just thought of a new and useful invention. The portable proximity sensor reporting via bluetooth. Every time you go to hook something up it would only take one man and it would be perfect every time. I’m picturing a dot fitting into a bubble? Make it portable because even if equipment comes with it in the future, not everything will hence the portable in the name. I would work on it but I’m 65 and terribly lazy now. 😂

does that SPRAYER HAVE ISO CAMERAS on the wifi or wutever for the ''whole unit'' ???? can you get another camera to add to the CAMERA PACKAGE for undercarrage viewing or remove the rear camera and plug into a cord down there underside to use the camera to show you the alignment of the jack underneath.... ???
@crandonborth Жыл бұрын
They do have options for under cameras but I’m not sure that’s a Case option. I think a simpler way just put something on the ground to the tire so you know where to line the sprayer tire up to the jack instead of just guessing.

If the batteries aren't fully charged, they will freeze, and rupture the Case and require replacement. The disconnect is Not the solution. A trickle charger and a battery heater in freezing weather.
