Also use an spray electrical contact cleaner before reconecting the wiring loom....small detail but very important....

who or where did you send the module for repair, also what was the issue with the unit? well explained video by the way...

Colin Arnett this video is quite old now and I don't recall who I used to repair my ABS module. a quick Google search returned a few companies and this one seems familiar www.autoelectronics.com.au/abs_modules_2.html I do not endorse this company and provide this link in the hope it might help somebody out.

My vz commodore abs fault warning light comes on when I start the engine? What could be wrong? Abs module, abs sensor?

Hi buddy, I couldn't start my VY Commodore today and the dashboard was showing ABS Fault but AA came and jump started the car and it was fine. So do you think is the battery or the ABS module or sensors?

All I change was the battery. I have sold the car since, the damn thing is having issues every 3 months although it was hitting over 200k on the clock.

Danielle Swan No. no fluid leaks out. this is the electronic side of the ABS system and so is isolated from any brake fluid.
