I remember those cars when they were new, my father drove galaxies’s during the 1960’s , 63 and 66 were the best years !!

They're highly under-rated cars! Obviously, I'm biased towards the 66 model year, but I love the 63/64 model years too and would love to own one someday

Sweet car. My Dad had a '66 Galaxie 500 with a 390. It always ran great. As you know, it is hard to find nice examples of this single design year. I think it is one of the best. Hang on to it. You've done a great job preserving it!

Nice 66. You can glue in panels where fire hazards exist, using 3M 8115 Panel Adhesive. I use it all the ime and it works great.

Love your 66. I have a 65 LTD. Mine also has the chrome trim around the gas door. Im not sure if its standard or a aftermarket piece added.

Where did you get the ford letters boss ?, I just got. 66’ ford LTD 4 door hardtop all original with a 302 swap. Any advice you would give to a 20 year old starting out. Thank you so much boss !!!

It's an Elgin E-966-P Hydraulic Flat Tappet, duration 204/214, lift 0.486/.512

Yessir, factory a/c car (albeit the factory unit is loooong gone)
