In the 1st season I considered the adults reactions as typical over the top parents. Now after 3 seasons I see the parents as reasonably exasperated at their antics. By all means they have the patience of saints.

Sympathies to all at C4 with news of the Tories latest cultural vandalism. The government are a disgrace and we are sleep walking into ignorance.

@Sutty The British Government want to “privatize” (I.e. remove funding for) the channel that shows Derry Girls in the UK. The fact that their news room is critical of the government is entirely coincidental, I’m sure.

@Joe why not? Most people didn’t even know C4 was owned by the government. Some people didn’t even know that it didn’t cost the government a penny as it gets it’s revenue from advertising. That includes Nadine Dorries whose department had responsibility for it. I would agree with you if the government used its stake holding to make a partisan point or control the people such as in places like Russia or North Korea but so far in the west I would think we are safe so you don’t have to shit your knickers.

@Joe interfere in the market? Admit it you’re just repeating something you’ve heard from somewhere else.

@Joe well thanks for the clarification. I wonder then who do you think should be responsible for everything else like national strategy on housing, the economy, health, education etc. I’m sure you’re committed to the mantra of let the market decide. Open your eyes and see what the market has done to our communities.

If you read the subtitles you will laugh even more. The autogenerated text simply can’t cope with Norn Irnd words.
