Just a suggestion... (Btw i am an immigrant from South Africa) perhaps if immigration is decreased, there will be less potential workers so business would have to pay more to hold on to staff and wages would rise above inflation - causing the average worker to have more disposable income, this would lead to a consumer boom? (Less potential workers -higher wages (supply decreases so demand for workers increase) / more disposable income / more products bought / more staff employed in those businesses etc

Disgusting how this is filmed and edited in a completely biased way. This is extremely disappointing for a Channel 4 documentary. I would have liked to see a more honest view.
