Just go meet some black people! When we discover that people are only people, that's when barriers are broken, bridges are built and people truly learn to peacefully co-exist! Take yourself out of your comfort zone, make yourself uncomfortable on purpose so that you can grow and be better! In the end, we all just want to be better, no?

What she is saying comes across as outrageous. However, as an African, you find out that what she is saying sits well with other non-whites who are not of Black African origin. A good example will be in a country like Saudi Arabia or India where they are extremely anti-black Africans (the earlier is quick to use the Bilal narrative i.e. a slave who gained his freedom through Prophet Muhammed and later became a key confidant of the great Prophet) and the furious dislike is purely down to the dark skin and nothing else; so, it is not just a White thing. Anti-Blackness is a global phenomenon.

In 1999 I was jumped and robbed in my flat by six black teens. In 2001 I was robbed at knifepoint by four black teens. In school in Camberwell I was the only white kid in my form and bullied relentlessly. My mother was robbed in South London by black youths and had her jaw broken. Never, have I had a problem with black people as a whole.

Smh, if she actually had a reason behind her problem with black people, like she was mugged by a few and mistreated, then I would at least understand her view point. She's admitted she's completely irrational and by her own admission it's "bizarre". She has no business being in any position of power.

@@endm2740 ok, you said "we", so I take it that you live in the west, ....USA? Either way, why can't you just deal with our stuff? Why do so many, usually white people, immediately point out other country's short comings? We live HERE and need to fix HERE. We don't fix it by pointing the finger elswhere. We hear, "Take responsibilty for your self". Well?? The way to get through a problem, is to admit the problem, own up to it and move on to the solutions.
