OH THANK GOD! I wasn't just a dumb kid who couldn't understand the plot, the plot was just bad, and believe me, the Disney Channel here reran this weird abomination many times, so I had it ingrained in my memories. But yes, even as a kid I could tell that this movie was bad, nonsensical and messy as hell, and yes, the only redeeming feature of it was the alien design.
@Cameron-yq5ug7 жыл бұрын
I could hardly remember a thing about it EXCEPT the alien design. Everything else just flew right over my head as a kid.
@mariawhite73377 жыл бұрын
I remember the alien he thought of was a telepathic species so it wasn't that odd to me as a kid. There is a scene with this alien where the kid puts his hand on the window and then he does all these door openings and such. So it was this alien that told him how to do it. maybe it was just me that saw that and thought that. Now how he knew before hand I don't know at all. There is no explanation for it at all. There is an explanation for the satellite dish though, that's what we used to use for like a month for satellite tv. I know because one of my aunts had one in their backyard. SO its not that odd for the time the movie was made.

I remember wishing stuff like Hocus Pocus wouldn't waste so much time about how much the kids school life, home life etc sucked. This movie wasted way to much time with the standard nerd in school tropes before getting to the aliens and other crazy idea's. Idea's that are better than most the movies in Hollywood these days. Holy fuck I thought I dreamt about this movie. This movie gave me so many nightmares I guess I pushed it back. Great I'm going to need to go back to therapy.
