@ChestRockwell248 жыл бұрын
I'd like to see something "Nostalgic". It seems like it would be cool since there are plenty of older movies to tackle. But instead they do the opposite and even review films before they are even out on blu ray and then they feel them acting out scenes in an awful manner is somehow endearing.
@ChestRockwell248 жыл бұрын
DejaVoodooDoll Because they are fucking terrible. It's bad enough he stopped doing nostalgic stuff(rendering his name utterly meaningless) but these people are shitty actors and it's painful to watch them try to act out these scenes. Also what was PIXELS a reboot of? Or a sequel to? Why did we need that pile of shit reviewed before it came to dvd? Also if they aren't going to review just older films like before they could at least stick to reviewing shitty films. Star Wars The Force Awakens wasn't shitty. It got great reviews and made a shitload of money. His slogan is "I remember it so you don't have to" but why wouldn't we want to remember good films?
@ChestRockwell248 жыл бұрын
DejaVoodooDoll Yes I can't understand it because merely "Ha these things existed!!!!" isn't nostalgic. The acting is so awful, the plot so horrible, it murders any nostalgia and then rapes its corpse. Compare that to a movie like "The Wizard" where..it wasn't a great film, but it gave you some nice feelings of nostalgia. As opposed to a horrid Adam Sandler movie. BTW what the fuck happened to Sandler? He used to make funny movies. Now he makes shit.
@matt_dude24468 жыл бұрын

My dad was a kid in the '50s and '60s and grew up on the original show, watched it in reruns later, and genuinely really liked Will Smith and thought he was charming af (you know, like every other human being on the planet), so he was pretty stoked for this movie. I saw it in the theater as a young teen and went home like, "Dad, trust me. You don't want to know." "Oh, but that Will Smith guy, he's smooth and would make a great Jim West." "Dad..." Dad watched it when it eventually aired on TV. I've never seen a man's hopes and dreams crushed so swiftly.

Something Original plot does sound interesting, it just needs some tweaks. Ok the two characters backgrounds we can keep, someone who gives people the gift of strength and someone who can give people the curse of sickness and death, and the plot of them battling each other sounds good, just don't make it something like Zod and Superman, make it more like Jessica Jones, like its several hours of darkness and serious situations and an evil cruel villain with a deadly superpower. Also get more detail on that man who told them to fight, he can be considered the real big top villain, someone wanting chaos and destruction. Maybe u could end up having the two characters work together to stop him but it should go back to them hating each other. Also we need special names, sure we can simply just make normal names but we could get away with awesome names, like the woman can be called Brawn, and the man can be called Pestilence. as for the third guy, idk tbh he seems like a Kingpin sort of guy, so maybe The Master Planner or something.Finally we need a new title cuz it cant be Something Original, if u want it an actual movie then u gotta give it a proper title, like Life and Death or Brawn

I'll tell you exactly why they made the film. To sell toys. They had kid's meal deals with Burger King. Build your own metal spider. As a kid when it came out, this movie worked. I guess they hoped to cash in on how successful Rated-R 80's and early 90's action films toy markets were that maybe as a PG-13 movie, even more kids would be begging their parents for a metal spider and western spy gadgets. It did not last and it clearly failed and doesn't hold up, but as 10-year-old when it came out. Yeah. It was awesome!
