Always look on the bright side of life, monty python song . . . At least it did not rain, imagine that trying to put that tent up in the rain, always look on the bright side of life, good job it wasnt blowing a howler + 40 mph winds ha, ha trying to put that tent up in the rain and blowing an howler. You dont say how tall you are i might be six foot seven ha ha, will my head touch the roof, or poke an hole in it. Joking aside, at least your out and about i might try it I have a Thernarest mesh cot, pretty light of the ground, if you can't pitch a tent. Nice video Have fun Peter and lucky the Boxer dog

@@peterriley3249 did you not notice me putting my bag into the tent whilst I was pitching? It was raining for half na hour of the pitch man. As strongly as it was when I bailed into the tent for ten mins 😂😂😂 I shld have mentioned it. If it was blowing me down I'd have just gone to the nice grassy spot 2 seconds away lol. But I was determined to have my usual spot which my Soulo manages fine on so I was fighting for it hehe. The pitch was strong. Would have easily taken 50 gust. Ohhhh Boxer dog? Was that ur dog in my last video? Thank you for commenting and ty for the watch :) xx

@@lornemcneil yes certainly agree. Giving the forecast being brilliant and the tent being stood strong for 50s, it wasn't needed that night really. I'd usually have one though for far away trekk and so on to cover my bag. For sure to stop the moisture or bail out of a camp. But I'm alsmot certain I'd always have my pitch up ☺️ specially when I know the hill back to front. Lots of better pitches up there I just wsnted my fav one haha There was a grassy spot 3 secs down the way from me but I was determined to have my usual spot hehe. The pitch was strong in the end after an hr haha. It rained too hahaa On unknown hills ya u csnt be certain 😅😋😋😋😋 always bring one

@@dan001427 thanks x. It's slowly getting there. I'm a sprpts therapist by trade os on the right track. Its just an 18 month thing. Well all 3 injuries are 😅. Finally past the 18 month stage and I'm seeing some improvements now in Thea achillis x. Knees a bit behind but itl come. Had the other knee with the same tendinosis in the past took 2 years. Nightmare. Degenerative tendinosis are nightmare. Takes long long time. And mine are and have bene stubborn. They didn't respond to lots of rehab for a while. What's worked is accupuncture st last.

@@GoSummitSolo I recently injured my shoulder tombstoning. I think I put my arm out too soon and the force of me travelling through the water overextended my arm. It's getting better but I've had to quit boxing, hopefully only temporarily. But seriously, if you haven't already, check out Knees Over Toes Guy. He suffered with his knees and even had to have operations. He developed exercises to strengthen the muscles around the knees. I do them as a preventative measure. My personal favourites are the ATG Split Squats and the Tibialis raises. I need to add backwards walking into my routine. Becoming more susceptible to injuries as you get older sucks. Anyway, I've subscribed to your channel and am enjoying your content. I live near the Brecon Beacons, I've never been to Scotland but desperate to visit. Keep up the good work.
