In this episode, I am doing a monster ride from Tidjikja in Mauritania all the way to Saint Louis in Senegal. 700 kilometers AND a border crossing! The reason for this crazy day is that I barely have any cash left and there are no ATMs in this part of Mauritania, and on top of that, once in Senegal I only get 48 hours to have my motorcycle papers stamped in Dakar. So... prepare for a monster day..

700 km on a motorbike in a single day through the desert ? Wow crazy! You must've felt exceedingly tired after completing that challenge... don't forget to rest, though, as covering such long distances in such environments in such a short time is physically draining. But nothing seems to deter you Noraly which highlights your perseverance. Local folks are simply very sweet and kindhearted. They take pride in helping out the visitors it seems. God bless them. The border town seems really chaotic unlike what Noraly thought it wud be. And Noraly , you ended this episode at a very crucial juncture - tricky border crossing . Unimaginable border condition at Senegal entry. You are so daring to enter into such locations. You stand on top of world riders for your determination and courage. We are all happy to roam the world along with you in such locations.

That was an epic journey through Mauritania Noraly! You certainly had your share of riding in sand! You've definitely shared with us some amazing views. Looking forward to Senegal.

That scene of you threading your way among market stalls was reminiscent of a Bond movie, minus the bit about jumping from rooftop to rooftop (plus bad guys in helicopters).

Amidst the puzzle pieces of which border.. which passport.. enough gas? cash? - I belly laughed at the scene of eating a roll of bread, stuffed under an Arai helmet visor, at 50km in the middle of nowhere. A classic example of just... wait for it... 'roll' with it. 😊

Lol Noraly. The road to the border is hillarious. Different kind of jungle. 😂 the man buying bread for you was really so sweet. And the man at the market kicked the can out of the way and moving people aside for you.😅

I can't even imagine... how amazing to become a world citizen with community in every village. People have beautiful hearts and love to be generous. You will be the topic of conversation over many a meal. Bravo!

What a path you had to travel! I’m sure you are happy you made all the copies of the fiche. Seems like you’ve had to give a lot out on this trip. But as you always do...finding bread in the middle of no where and nice men to treat you to it...your belly was full. This is going to be an interesting border crossing, for sure!

😂Soooo funny, the bread being eaten by a helmet, and then that big guy at the end clearing the market for Noraly with that psychedelic 70's music behind it! Great find! 🤣👌💪

Another nice day riding in the desert! The gentlemen with the bread were very kind and just happy to see a foreigner in their habitat. Also very nice of the man to walk along in front of you through the market and clear the way! Noraly, you always bring the best out of everyone you meet! Ride safe!
