It was a bit of an optical illusion. I measured out the rope to be longer than the height of the tree. I didn't want to take any chances, though. That's why I ran like crazy

That must've been Dan's dog Pepe. I didn't notice that in the video before u mentioned it. I don't remember seeing any wildlife at the time I was hiking

I do use a bigger hammer sometimes. Carrying it up the mountain is a bit more exhausting though
