I've been trying to remember all this time with the Yellow Jackets. Dish soap! Mix up a good strong batch of dish soap in a five gallon bucket and pour it into the nest. The soap helps the water drown them.

The dish soap works great. It's still very difficult to flood the hole. They build it so it doesn't get flooded by rains. If you pull back some dirt, an opening will appear. Then gas, dish soap, or poison will wipe out the hive. The hard parts are finding the hive and exposing the inner layer without getting stung.

I'll tell Dan. He's been putting in the work on these big logs. I love skinnies as long as they're not too insane. Those are perfect for that area down below. There's not much grade down there.

Hey Aaron, I hope you keep an EpiPen with you, I don't know how deadly wasps can be, but I know a honey bee killed a friend of mine's brother. He didn't even know he was allergic, took his shoes off to help wash his buddies truck and walking in the house barefoot got stung on his foot, 40 minutes later he was dead. They hit him TWICE with epipens but it didn't help, pronounced dead at the hospital. Pretty sad, he was only like 40 real healthy guy too. So I hope you keep one on you all the time.

That is very dad to hear. I've had this discussion with somebody else. I'm not allergic, and I'm not sure if wasp venom escalates like bees or not. I haven't been concerned because I have very little reaction at this point. The hands swell when I'm stung on the finger or back of my hand. My last sting hot me on the back of the arm. It barely left a mark and zero swelling. It itched a little bit. It's something I'll be researching more as I go, and I appreciate the concern.

Yeah I hear you, his brother Eric they were displayed any signs of allergic reaction or anything before and Bam end of line, so just keep on you man it couldn't hurt right? And I'm loving all the work you're doing there I wish I was able to come over and help out I'm pretty much stuck here helping some other people even though I'm only about an hour and a half away. 👊😁

I'm hoping soon. I have a guy that is coming up to Everstoke with a welder. If all goes well we will be able to weld on the metal to enable bikes to roll over the bug. He said he might be able to make it up this weekend. Keep our fingers crossed. I would love to get this going.
