This is the best way to learn about Warhammer Lore. Not just talking about events, like other channels do. You get people to understand to the ESSENCE of these factions.

I find that the audio drama compilations on Audible are PERFECT for this. There are 4 just for the Horus Heresy. Each collection has about 10 stories, all well voice acted with great sound effects and even a score!. They're great! Not inconsequential stuff like you'd think short stories would be. There are a couple Malcador stories, and one includes a massive bombshell no one ever mentions....probably because they figured all the info they needed on the Heresy was in the book series. But this is GW, you better believe they'll drop important info during short story comps, baby! On top of that, there are audio drama comps for a lot of dif 40k topics, so you can find SOMETHING you like. I use it to sleep, then pick up where I last remember leaving off. Not even trying to sell the damn things, juts share cool info. Audible sponsors EVERYONE (or at least used to), so find your fave YTer and do the free trial to help them out. You get a free book, 2 if a prime member, that you can keep forever even after canceling. Audible is a must sub (for a while anyway) for a 40k fan IMO. Ignore the plus library they're trying to push right now, ZERO 40k or any WH content at all for that matter. Anyway, hope someone else finds and enjoys these audio dramas. Just incredible.

@@__-tp4tm The games are great. I can hook you up with the audio dramas if you want, just drop a way to contact you. Also keep in mind there's a lot of 40k audio on YT. Just search variations of "40k audio" "40k audio drama" or "warhammer 40k audio book." There's a bit of fan fiction to ignore, but plenty of good stuff. The audio books aren't the same as the dramas, there's a narrator but no voice actor for each character and often no score/soundtrack. They're still great to relax too, though. Anyway, drop a method to contact you if want to check out those dramas I mentioned. What 40k games do you play?

they are the same thing. the gods are basically warp storms of human emotions given sentience through worship. the gods can be changed and effected by mortals like all things in the sea of souls. a big reason why the gods are the way they are is because the imperium is filled with misery, hate, and the indulgence of the powerful elite that keeps the boot of the lower classes faces. the imperium are a much larger force than the servants of chaos so they probably provide more emotional nourishment for the chaos than the servants themselves.
