huge shout out too you guys and gurls! best BRs on YT. I've played in 3. to 7. edition and something that always strikes me, in my memory the maps were way bigger. It took me (eldar player back in the days) like 2 turns to get into contact and had huge ranges(30"-50" inches) I could play with and our average army size was around 1500-2000k points. Also. the gameplay itself seems to be way faster . Maybe it's just my twisted memory. Anyway, I like your content!

Not at all. Personally, I think combat in general is a bit weak in 10th and could do with being amplified a bit so definitely agree as Nids are traditionally very Killy in combat. - Beard

He’s my own Warlord for my Iron Warriors. Short version is that he was blown to pieces by the T’au (in a game YEARS AGO) and was reforged by the dark mechanicum and stomps the battlefield with bionic limbs. - Beard

I think you're talking about the Dimachaeron? It's an old Forgeworld model that they've stopped producing. It does have legends rules though :)

This first battle round just confirms for me, that resolving damage should be done at the end of the battle round. Alpha strike units and the way set up and determine first round goes just skews the game towards the player with first turn, imo, and can absolutely ruin games. With the 'apocalypse' method of damage and destroying, first strike units would be less impactful, as the second turn player can always strike back with 100% efficiency. Either way, fantastic game, I thoroughly enjoyed it, while it distracted me from cleaning the bathroom😅

My last game, the same happened with my Haruspex and Screamer-killer, both of which were fielded for the first time. New model syndrome, combined with alpha strikes, make for some very sad moments 😅
