Just a reminder that the rhino battleshocked get -1 to hit within 12 of Neurolictor but more importantly Nids gets +1 wound on them too, there was 2 4s that wasnt counted but were supposed from the Exorcrines

Are they confusing the once per battle from the possessed for the Forgefiend? I don’t see the FF having that restriction

Theres a few things they could do for shadows in the warp, but if they want to make it thematic, it should effect psychic models more than regular models. A -1 to psyker units leadership, or to the dice roll, would go a long way. Maybe shadows should ignore opponents enhancements/army rules too, making some of the worst matchups easier, such as black templars, who, when using righteous crusaders, have an army wide 5 leadership and are just impossible to battleshock.

Eh, I'm not a fan of the idea of it having an extra impact on Psykers even though it is thematic, because that does not at all solve the "doesn't matter until it does" issue. Like your rule is better now against Thousand Sons or Grey Knights, but is still just as terrible as it was against World Eaters or Sisters of Battle.

I keep trying to check out CSM batreps today and all I'm finding is the Veterans of the Long War detachment. Oh well. I'll keep looking for more Dread Talons or Deceptors games. :)

Just a small fyi. If you are wounding on 5+ with rerolls, then sustained is mathematically better than lethals. Especially if you got devs on top.

@@jorkbartoschkozlowski9097 full reroll only. With 1s the distance closes a bit. For comparison (in the case of wounding on 5s). Without any rerolls, lethal is better than sustained by 50%. With rerolls 1 to wound, it's only better by 28.57%. And with full rerolls to wound sustained is better by 11.11%. This is one of the chief reasons why lethals are in general substantially worse than sustained (albeit exceptions obviously exist). They have no synergy with things like wound rerolls, dev wounds and most importantly picking the right targets for the right weapons. Some armies like death guard can make them reliable enough to actually make a substantial difference, but generally lethals are quite bad. Especially because in most circumstances where lethals will actually matter, the attacks still won't do much because everything besides your 6s to hit will have a hard time wounding the enemy so even then it's probably only for chipping the last few wounds off.

Norns like most of nids codex are underwhelming when you compare them to similar class units to other codex. norns compare to avatar are ctans are just sad. warriors compared terminators bladegaurd wraiths or nobs just sad. swarmlord compare to primarchs sad....

It is KZbin of course. Sadly, watching KZbin nowdays without some form of ad blocker is damn near impossible. The "best" thing was 4:27 minute unskippable ad on 18 seconds of cute seal video.

@@petec9467 oh for sure, just wanted them to know it became pretty unwatchable especially since I’m usually watching while painting minis so it just becomes easier to pick a new vid than have to reach over every few min and stop mid paint.
